We are all familar with the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History that was named at the 1996 or 1997 All Star game. To celebrate the league's 60th year, TNT during All-Star Weekend, will unveil what it calls its "next 10." The network will reveal 10 additional players to comprise the top 60 in league history.

In your opinion who is the next ten. Here is my 10:

Dominique Wilkins
Alex English
Adrian Dantley
Bob McAdoo
Bob Lanier
Bernard King
Dennis Johnson
Tim Duncan
Kobe Bryant
Kevin Garnett

A.I. would likely bump DJ at the least.

Reggie could also well make it ahead of a guy like English.

And Payton will be right there too.

Think LeBron wil have to wait until the Greatest 70 in another decade.

I would like it better if they took the tougher assignment of keeping the number at 50. In that case, who would get bumped OFF the old list?

I seriously considered Iverson, but I figured that D.J. has been the cog in winning 3 Championships for 2 teams (Seattle '79 and Boston '84 and '86, with the '86 team one of the Top 3 teams of all times) and made Finals appearances in three other years ('78, '85 and '87).

A.I. should replace King. King is a legend, but not a top 60 player. English definately should stay, I think, especially if McAdoo is there too.

Dominique should have been in the top 50 (over someone like Pete Maravich--no disrespect to the dead). It seems to be a Universal Law that D.W. must be screwed over repeatedly (no Dream Team, no top 50, no H.O.F.).

Although I personally would not put him in the Top 60, I wouldn't be surprised to see Jason Kidd on the list.

Gheorghe Muresan makes my list. Not only a great Center, but a stellar actor. He killed me alongside Billy Crystal in "My Giant."
