Mister Slim Says: So it turns out that 2026 started exactly how 2025 ended, with the Kings being embarrassed at home to an eastern conference contender. Tonight, Sacramento heads out on the road for the second night of a back-to-back, this time against a division rival, one which has been playing above expectations at that. Phoenix is a game and a half out of the sixth seed and are motivated to avoid the play-in, so Kings fans can probably expect more of what they've seen the first two times these teams have met this season.

Which will make some of you happy, at least.

EDIT - My finger got twitchy and I accidentally posted the thread before I got done writing the poll. It'll be back up in a minute.

From NBA.com - The Kings have played the league’s toughest schedule (cumulative opponent winning percentage of .571) through December, and they somehow have the league’s toughest January. Ten of their first 12 games are at home, but they close the month with the first five games of a six-game trip, visiting five of the top eight teams in the Eastern Conference.
"It all evens out" is such BS by the way lol no it doesn't.

Despite the fact that science fiction appeals to me greatly, 1970s television sci-fi is a bit outside my wheelhouse. But I still absolutely adore the 00s remake of Battlestar Galactica. Edward James Olmos is my guy, now and forever.
I considered making it all-encompassing but a) there were too many choices to narrow it down, and b) as I've said before, I dislike creating polls that have "obvious" answers. Had I allowed options like The X-Files, Battlestar Galactica (2004), Doctor Who, Star Trek or The Twilight Zone, it would have skewed the results in ways I didn't want to happen.

70s version is a hokey star wars rip off with a bunch of LDS mythology snuck in which was thankfully toned down a bit in the reboot.

The toys were cool AF though. I think they had to cripple later versions, but the intitial space ships actually fired missiles which would later be fixed and only eject from the tubes.

FTR, Twilight Zone from that list for me with only the 2004 BSG even garnering a second look.

I'm certainly not questioning your polling prowess. I'm just too young to have lived through the 70s, and while I've worked my way backwards to a great many things that are relevant to my interests, it's mostly been on either side of that particular decade when it comes to science fiction.

Dude, I'm only fifty: I barely lived through the seventies, but I had access to VHS tapes.

Let me put it this way; the 1970s weren't a decade with much science fiction from the television side that appeals to someone like me. There were tons of great sci-fi films in the 70s, but my favorite sci-fi shows, while perhaps more "obvious", all come from every televised decade except the 70s. I'm not entirely sure why the 70s were a bit more lightweight when it comes to sci-fi television, but the only entry on this poll that would really interest me is Serling's Night Gallery, which strikes me as more horror/fantasy than sci-fi.

If only you had included the 1960s sci-fi series. An easy The Time Tunnel for me.
Except for Night Gallery, big fan but enjoyed Serling’s Twilight Zone more, I have never seen any of the above listed. Serling’s works were a mixed bag of genres.
