If nothing else, it should tell you that what you might assume makes sense, may not be the choice with this owner. Nobody knows what's going to happen, but like I said, if I had to bet, Christie is the head coach to start next season, regardless of this season's results.

If he gets past this trade dead-line and into next season and is able to produce some positives, he has a chance to further make multiple millions with a new contract
