3 game road trip

Hall of Famer
I think that 2-1 is all we can hope for here.

Obviously, Minnesota as a great team comming of a home loss and getting back Spreewell will be very, very tough. The arena is very cold and numerous times there we got out really slow and it was over before we know it. We will need everyone to play well. Webber's knee will be big factor here. Also Mike has to show up on both ends of the floor - or their guards will kill us. If we can stay close we could steel this one.

Indiana should not cause any trouble regardless of who is back playing again on their roster. If we do not underestimate them - it will be OK. If we beat Minnesota - Webber might sit this one out too.

Bucks will be difficult. They always seam to cause us trouble especially Mason with his offensive rebounding. If we stay close enough - they will choke.

We have the momentum here. We worked hard to get it and we should try hard to keep it.

Man we really need to get that one in Minny, I mean they came to Arco and beat us...I AM LOOKING FOR REDEMPTION!!! As for the Pacers and the Bucks, keep an eye on r. miller, he had 32 last night, and for god's sake don't let redd get going...he is a monster.

But i am confident in the way we are playing, especially since these last few games have been major confidence boosters IMO. I'm gonna say that we WILL be 3-0 on this road trip.

GO KINGS!!!!!!!!!

Defend - Defend - Defend

No easy shots for the Wolves ...
Contest everything ...
Make 'em work for every shot ....

rebound rebound rebound

No easy SECOND shots for the Wolves ...
Contest everything ...
Make 'em work with one shot and out ....

This road trip worries me. I think the Kings would have a better shot in Minny, had they won against Dallas. I can't see them losing two in a row at home. Man just having to travel to cold weather cities in the middle of December playing a back to back just does not sit well with me.

1-2:o

I know Minny is going to be tough, but do we have better record vs. Minny on the road, then we do at home??
I could be wrong, but I thought they mentioned something like that duting broadcast last game vs. Minny in Sactown.

the kings should go at least 2-1

beating minny on the road would be a HUGE statement. the kings have turned the corner since that awful start, but the one thing the kings don't have is a win vs an a team that is considered elite. it would be a huge statement to the league that hey the kings are still an elite team.

the indy game has me a little concerned as well, since webber has had some troubles on the 2nd of B2B games. either way, i think the kings should win this game by double digits.

the bucks are an intresting scenario. the kings should beat them again. DC played great D on redd, he'll have to do that again for the kings to win.

2-1 minnimum on this trip, but i think the kings can definelty go 3-0

Don't sell Indiana and the Bucs too short

I watched most of the Indiana/Bucs game last night, Reggie was like 7 for 8 in the 4th and hit 3 or 4 "Miller Time" catch and shoot clutch shots in the last minutes. Only to be outdone by a clutch three from Redd. The way we're playing we def could go 3-0 if we get the first one , but the other two won't be like the Bobcats or New orleans games.

I don't really care about what the result is for the Indiana and Buck, but we definitely need to beat the TWolves. We need to prove it to overselves that we can beat a championship contention team.
I think that even the Kings realize this and that might be one of the reasons that Webber didn't play against Bobcats, eventhough there were 2 days in between the two games.

Any team that wants to win and believes they can is a scary team. The NBA is a different beast then any other sport. Warriors would beat the Lakers when they couldn't beat the Clippers. I also remember the game where Shaq threw that sucker punch at Brad from behind when the Bulls beat LA. That was an exciting game.

I gotta admit the first one is the only one I really care about too, We Need This Game!! I hate that Fugazzi KG!(what really pisses me off is he's the best player in the league) GO KINGS!

we always play good against the twolves at minny....Songaila should get more minutes than usual cuz he can cover KG better the webber at times and proved against th bobcats he can snatch some rebounds

What?!?!?!?

Last year, when Webber was still in the process of coming back from his injury, Kevin Garnett made the comment he was very glad he was only playing against the 60% Webber because Webber was really doing a good job of guarding him.

Darius covers KG better than Webber? Oh, grasshopper, I think not...

As far as snatching rebounds against the Bobcats, that is fine...as far as it goes but it certainly isn't a valid comparison for how someone will do against Kevin Garnett and HIS crew.

Kings need to protect they defense rebound for cutting off the Wolves second offense change.

I'm just hoping for focus and rebounding. I think 3-0 is possible, but suspect 2-1 is more probable.

GO KINGS!!!

Well, I am considering a few things about the Minny game.

1. It will be the 3rd game in 4 days for Minny.
2. The Kings will have had 2 days off.
3. Webber will have rested for 3 days.
4. The Kings will want to prove they can beat an elite team.

Considering all that, I think it is certainly possible to beat the TWolves. This will be an excellent opportunity anyway.

If the Kings beat Minny (and they can), I would be more concerned about dropping a game to the Pacers or the Bucks. The Kings sometimes let down against much easier teams right after they really get up for and beat an elite team.

So, I would expect a 2-1 record on this trip, but the loss will not be to Minny. In other words, the Kings are perfectly capable of winning all 3, but will they?

In case anyone didn't notice, the other night the *Dallas Mavericks* murdered the Twolves on the boards in beating them in Minny. The Kings should at least be able to play them even on the boards.
