Robert Duvall made his first movie with Gregory Peck and then lived long enough to make a movie with the basketball player Juancho Hernangómez
Sports tidbit on Duvall - Babe Ruth hit 149 home runs after he was born.

One of those ancient history is recent history things, kinda cool.

Not sure why bluesky link is not resolving correctly, if it doesn't work it is the great Reverend reading Green Eggs and Ham on SNL after Dr. Seuss had passed.

Rev. Jackson had some great moments on SNL, particularly "The Question is Moot" which I think always gives me a giggle every time I see someone type "mute point" - sorry did you not see this great Jesse Jackson sketch?!?

Wow ... all my years as a Johnny Thunders fan I never knew he apparently loved Jesse Jackson. Saw a quote today where he said the only person fit to be President was Rev. Jackson and assumed it was just click bait but after googling I found this story which is new to me.

Something batman said.

But I will say this as someone who definitely was neutral on account of not liking either program. ND should have been given the championship in 93/94.
