Reading reports that Scott Adams has died.

In other news, I had a homemade chicken salad sandwich and potato chips for lunch. Flavored sparkling water to drink (mandarin orange).

Wow if we're going to pull up people who had some small relevance in the 90s, Evil Dead fans may be sad to hear that Marcus Gilbert who played Lord Arthur in Army of Darkness passed away from cancer a few days ago. He was 67.

F cancer.

Not a dead head and really don't get it but while Jerry seemed like everyone's favorite uncle, Bob was always the one I liked most. RIP

And where was this energy when I expressed similar a sentiment over Fred Phelps and Rush Limbaugh's passing?
To be honest, I don't remember either.

I just had to look up Fred Phelps because I didn't know who he was. Besides, at that time I wasn't even a mod, no chance I would have called a mod out on that.

I suppose I either didn't see the Limbaugh (unlikely given the year, I would have been reading almost everything), or I decided not to say anything on the basis of not trying to stoke flames further. I don't know which.

This one's really outside my wheelhouse but cancer claims another young (when compared to me) person.

TMZ reporting James Van Der Beek has passed from his colon cancer.

He was only 48???!!! I had always thought that he was significantly older than me...😢
I was in my mid 20s and way out of the demographic when Dawson's Creek debuted so him only being about 2.5 years younger than me was a surprise to me.

He had to raise fund for his cancer treatment auctioning Dawson's Creek items and his varsity jersey last year.

RIP

Robert Duvall has sadly passed away at the age of 95.

RIP Boo Radley, THX, Tom Hagen.

Always one of my favorites, brought it in every role he ever played.

Robert Duvall made his first movie with Gregory Peck and then lived long enough to make a movie with the basketball player Juancho Hernangómez
