2001 Zach Randolph
2000 Jamaal Magloire
1999 Quincy Lewis
1998 Pat Garrity
1997 Scot Pollard
1996 Walter McCarty
1995 Randolph Childress
1994 Tony Dumas

let's hope this year's 19th pick is of the level of 2001/2000/... with a personality like the 1997 pick

Well Zach Randolph stands out but other then that everyone other 19th pick are just average players in the NBA.

Jamaal Magliore > Zach Randolph

And Rod Strickland in his prime >> Zach Randolph. Hell, if he continues to show growth like he did at the end of the season, then Joey Graham > Zach Randolph, when it's over and done with.

Aleksander Pavlovic, Walter McCarty, Pat Garrity are few good talents that if developed well will become above average and they are like Boris Diaw who struggled because didn't used well. You know, Boris didn't look good in Atlanta.

Ahh I see.. so a chubby guy with a likability factor ..too bad Glen "Big Baby" Davis isn't in this draft:)

Agreed Slim.

Joey Graham will be a nice player in the league. He's got talent, just was adjusting to the NBA level, while showing some flashes.

Walter is coming off his 10th season, he's not developing he's past his prime. He got plenty of playing time in Boston and was a hustle player who could put up an occasional game changing moment but that's all he is and ever will be.

Pat Garrity is also an 8 year vet.

Basically there's a 15-20% chance of getting a regular contributor, otherwise its 50-50 between getting junk or a capable reserve. I'd expect the odds are slightly better for us given our recent history but hopefully this is a wake up call for those that are convinced we are going to get a meaningful player at 19. Most of the names people have been tossing around are predicted to go by the end of the lottery.
