I’d say Minnesota should trade for one of our guys but they’ve sorta hamstrung themselves with that Dillingham trade where they traded an unprotected pick (which we now own) and a pick swap to draft a dude who gave them absolutely nothing today.

They look like like a low IQ team to me. Not the right players around Ant.

That was probably the first game this season we managed not to concede 30 points in a quarter. Also we had this "head to head" with Minnesota with the visitor winning at the arena for 8 matches in a row, Wolves "broke" that taking the home win 10 days ago so we paid them back.
From bench reactions, Keon looked not to be thrilled and not really celebrating some winning plays (early in the game at least, didnt see at the end was distracted celebrating myself) while LaVine used to be more enthusiastic with the camera pointing at him several times towards the end.

A tweet from a stat guy that Keegan should keep taking shots if Kings want to have bigger chances of winning.

As much as I’m ready for DeMar to go, i love that he’s continuing to stand by his strong opinion in regards to Keegan and his gifts.

Hopefully Deebo can give him some tips on how to get to the FT line more. He doesn't need to go 15 for 15 like DeMar did tonight but getting those FT attempts up to the 4-6 per game range needs to happen for Keegan to be a reliable #1 guy.

Shout out to Perry for the Precious signing. I already liked him but I like him a LOT more with Keegan in the lineup

Maybe I’m just being stubborn, but I don’t know how much credit I give Perry for this. Signing Precious was far too late, he should’ve been signed before the season going into camp. I seem to recall many on this board pointing out Precious as an available big to try to balance out our guard heavy team. But Perry prioritized Denis, Russ and even McBuckets. Either way, I’m happy he’s on the squad, he’s proven to be a capable big off the bench and even spot starter. I loved his effort tonight.

Come on man

Keegan is a freak man, it could happen.

His growth on defense has been insane, he's flashed crazy stuff on offense as well.

The criticisms are fair (aggression, handles, playmaking), but there's no way we've seen his final form yet.

Having him be option #1 should have been the plan for this season from the start anyways. Deebo needs to go. Domas doesn't want to be a #1. Zach is deadweight that's going to turn into a big ole expiring so who cares. Let's see what Keegan has while we jockey for lotto position.

Props to Coach DC for sticking with Monk over LaVine when it mattered most. I think he clearly outcoached Finch tonight - I mean, why in God's name was Conley guarding DeRozan at any point, let alone in overtime!?

Edit: I will say, LaVine was up clapping for his guys even in OT when he wasn't inserted back in the game and I really love and respect that.

Agreed! Hell, even for him to be a #2 guy - whatever it takes. Kevin Martin took such a leap when he figured out how to get to the line and I see no reason why Keegan can't do something similar, even if he isn't that type of scorer.
