I know Dennis was awful with the warriors but this is beyond what i ever imagined. I guess the fit is just bad here like it was there. Why is Sabonis still in this game? He’s not even going for rebounds in the way we’re used to seeing. He’s clearly in severe pain and still getting knocked around out there with no respect at all from officials.

Kayte spending all night crapting on the young guys for some reason
As the game is so interesting, I will dare to point out that when a post says "crapting" it is an indication that the person who wrote it has well internalized the grammatical rule of doubling a consonant after a short vowel when adding a suffix.

I’ve never seen a guard miss so many point blank layups lol and this season is especially tough because Sabonis just doesn’t look for his shot much, on a team with no Fox, LaVine or Monk. Who the hell is gonna score here?

Without Westbrook, they’re probably 0-11 right now. DS isn’t contributing but i don’t see that deal moving the needle either way, good or bad.
0-11 would be better than where we are at now. He should have had the foresight to realize the team he inherited had no shot of being a winning team....he could have made moves in the offseason to start the rebuild and get better value for some of our veterans.

It wasn’t. I don’t get why people romanticize the BEAM TEAM. They had one fluke year where the conference was bad and injured, then lost to the Warriors. Then missed the playoffs completely the following year when we ran it back.

Brown is a mid coach who has one good season everywhere he goes before flaming out. Fox is barely even an All-Star and certainly not a guy you SuperMax, so good on him for quitting when he realized he wouldn’t get that money.

You would prefer this ? We were a shot / unfortunate injury away from beating the Warriors. Was it perfect ? Definitely not. Was it a team that was enjoyable to watch and offered us some hope ? Very much so. The current ideation of the Kings might be the most depressing I’ve ever rooted for since 1998.

When you sit back and look at the roster, the coach, the owner, and their lack of direction, as someone who stuck it out through the late 80’s and all of the 90’s when I thought the kings were at their worst, I gotta say that this year and last year are absolutely dreary. There is no light at the end of this tunnel at all. Even if the FO decided to change direction could they? I don’t think so. At this point this is my method of doom scrolling, watching the kings. It’s straight entertaining to see just how bad they can be.
