For those in need of some cheering up, it may interest you to know that the Lakers are down by 29 points in OKC right now and that's with both Luka and Austin "God" Reaves playing.

That use to cheer me up. But now.. it takes more than that to tickle my feathers. The Raiders and Kings are down right depressing. I dont even root against the 49ers anymore.

Yes, it's probably some combination of 1) just fluky stats, 2) the "off" lineups may have been unusually bad, and 3) Carter's main contributions to the scoreboard didn't show up in the boxscore, e.g. deflections and forcing bad shots

It wasn’t. I don’t get why people romanticize the BEAM TEAM. They had one fluke year where the conference was bad and injured, then lost to the Warriors. Then missed the playoffs completely the following year when we ran it back.

Brown is a mid coach who has one good season everywhere he goes before flaming out. Fox is barely even an All-Star and certainly not a guy you SuperMax, so good on him for quitting when he realized he wouldn’t get that money.
