Again im never going to blame the owner for lineups and players. Until I get notice that hes making decisions instead of the guys hes paying millions to im not taking that take.

Vivik saved the Kings. We wouldn't even have a team if it wasn't for that guy. The hate against him is ridiculous
I'm grateful to Vivek and not as hard as most of Kingsland is on him but we have to turnover the roster by the deadline and if we don't I can only assume he likes this product for some reason.

Kevin Johnson is the one who brought Vivek on board after David Stern vetoed his original choice Ron Burkle. But more to the point, all of us are eternally grateful to Vivek for the role he played in allowing us to keep our NBA team. That doesn't mean he gets blanket immunity from all criticism forever.

Being a Kings fan from 2013 to 2025 has been a mostly miserable experience and it didn't nei ed to be. This season didn't need to be either. It may be unfair to hold Vivek responsible for all of that -- certainly he's not solely responsible. But he is the one guy who has been present through all of it so it's starting to look like there's no one else who could be responsible. Also, people are just frustrated. If it bothers you that the frustration is directed at Vivek, just run it through the "fan translator" and what comes out the other side is some version of "we suck!". And that's somewhat indisputable at this point.
I get what your saying, but blaming the owner is probably the most useless thing one can do. Hes not firing himself. He is basically the team. And however the details went down, he still stepped it up and purchased the team when they could have been in Seattle.

Further more, prior to him buying it the kings was being sold off like a flea market asset by the malloofs.

Vivek comes to almost every game, has his family involved so he clearly cares about the team. More than most owners id say. Thats all I ask from the owner.

For the record I didn't want brown to get fired but I also wanted Christie to get the job. It feels as though I was wrong.

The blessing is, I dont think Christie takes losing very well. I hope its only a matter of time before ye blows this crap up

Doug is the ultimate yes man. He is going to play the people he thinks Vivek wants him to play.

I agree, the hate is really out of place. I am happy the Kings are in Sacramento.
When it all falls apart I hope they drop ticket prices and do some fan service and make the next 2-3 years tolerable. There are worse owners its just that those teams consistently wind up with high lottery picks and fail up once or twice. The only time that happened to us was when we traded Cousins and got Fox and the pick that we blew.

Try the experience from 1999 to present... our cool, young owners were celebrated, the magic of an uncommon brotherhood was rewriting the rules of pro sports teams, and the bench was embarrassingly deep. The future looked so incredibly bright that many of us still believe in that ultimate future yet today.

Guy hasn't even coached a full season and you put this title on him. Based on what? His professionalism?

We have no idea what hes saying to theze guys.

Maybe hes just not a great coach, but its way too early to call him anything right now hes not even established. And if we dont start winning, he will never be
