NO ONE could coach this team as assembled to greatness. That's not on Doug or Scott, they just contracted to inherit the bag they are holding. Give us a team of Perry-picked rookies and Doug is the man for the job of building the team into something we all want to see. But first, we have to wait for the math to play out, in the form of contracts. Adversity is the opportunity for Faith that you'll someday be bragging about.

Yeah but signing Russ was incredibly dumb.

Going to agree to disagree on this one my friend. I just see no point of blaming a owner of a team. It doesn't do anything. Unless they not firing someone.

Wow Carter comes. Defense

Ellis defense.

Come on coach

Well, at least we all seem to be on the same page about Ellis and Carter getting benched for no reason being a mistake. It's cool if we disagree on who's fault that is -- the Coach who makes the rotation, the GM who built the roster, or the owner who hired them both. It's sortof a chicken and egg thing.

And I'm really only arguing semantics with you because I remember a lot of the details and I think that simply stating "Vivek saved the team" is unfair to the hundreds of people who raised money, made videos, flew to New York, negotiated with the city to make Golden 1 Center possible, etc. all of it long before Vivek was even involved.

Soooo... it's not on Scott that he acquired Schroder and Westbrook, and it's not on Christie that he refuses to play balanced lineups despite the Kings giving up 130+ regularly?!

Man, I think this game will give me about a ten-game break on watching Kings games. Too miserable for me.
And for all of you concerned with Devin/Keon not playing, have no fear - neither will be here next year anyway, likely not even the remainder of this season FWIW. This is just BAD basketball and a horrible product out there. SMH

To say he doesn't need either one of you guys money would be a understatement.

But you will get no argument from me that the Kings Organization isnt a model franchise.

Try being a Raiders and Kings fan. Im pouring salt in my left eye as I type.
i don’t care if he doesn’t feel it. if i was the only one doing it, hey props to me! i actually get a sense of joy that i am not contributing one single cent to this crap.

If the Kings' starting lineup had been Carter, Ellis, Clifford, Murray and Raynaud for all ten games they'd probably be 4-6.
Or even 0-10. Positioned for the lottery and a fan based who tuned in to watch. I know record the game, fast forward through the geriatric grew, stop to watch a bit of Clifford in meaningful minutes, and turn it off when it runs out of hand.

Nique would have to be ROY level (which maybe he is, too bad we haven't really been able to find out), for that to happen, but I'd be pretty confident that unit would actually give a crap on defense.

But basically, my point is that if we just played all the young guys, all the time, I don't think our record would be much different than it is now. Which is pretty sad.

Perry signed Dennis Schroeder to a 3 year 14m/ year deal. I've got news for you about him...
