Problem is, we can never prove that Doug's not making these calls. So unless we find out otherwise, it's fair to judge Doug on the decisions he's making with his rotations.

Monte only gets let off the hook because of the circumstance of the past year. Only a true pyscho leader would let Monte make a franchise-altering decision like the Fox trade...and then fire him 2 months later because of it. And when you operate under that assumption that he was no longer shot-calling, bringing in DDR, someone who rather fits Vivek's "mantra" of the type of player he likes (as well as a player archetype that Monte avoided his entire tenure here), some things start to click how we're stuck where we are currently at.

I still don't think DDR was a bad talent swing to take at all. Especially after we regressed year 2 of the beam team. But man have we fallen off the wagon since.
We fell off the wagon because our fringe star player quit on the team. We barley snuck in when he brought in for a year. We didnt have a chance when he half assed it.

DDR is a amazing offensive force but too much a liability on defense. If we kept this roast but when Murray came back we put ddr on the bench. Westbrook in starting line up. Bench Dennis and start playing Ellis and Carter we got a team. Nice and balanced. But we won't

Gave up another 70 point half, with only 7 minutes for Clifford, and DNPs thus far for Ellis and Carter. And yet, the Kings still managed to post only 54 points. If Christie's ridiculous rotation can't put up flamethrower offensive numbers, there's just no point to it. At all. And no excuse for not playing the team's defensive talent.

Was the same issue last year. Had a real chance to make a push, but didn't, because Doug wouldn't get Keon on the damn floor to balance Monk/LaVine/DDR. Instead, we're too worried about fragile egos as we're on our way to a 3-7 start

A little disappointed in Dougs play calls on that pick and roll. Gobert is like Deandre Jordan back in the day, they let him murder guys on pick and roll screens. Just switch it. Gobert ain't gonna Shaq teams to death on the mismatch. If he does, put a fork in it and raise the white flag.

Lavine is not the problem. Man is 6 for 8 3s man.

Get Dennis out of there. And replace ddr for some defense. Everyone cant score at same time. Ddr and Zack is redundant

It all starts at the top. Everything is erratic and scatter brained from there down

Ant is super fun to watch. Guy relishes competition, he just goes right back at LaVine. Almost seems like he *wants* the guy opposite to go off so they can go at each other

Again im never going to blame the owner for lineups and players. Until I get notice that hes making decisions instead of the guys hes paying millions to im not taking that take.

Vivik saved the Kings. We wouldn't even have a team if it wasn't for that guy. The hate against him is ridiculous

B Rad seems like he's perfectly happy blazin it and riding ATVs around (this is my assumption haha), I'm thinking Bibby or Bobby is the next guy to cash checks and say "Good idea, Vivek!" for a few years before getting fired.

He's actually helped out Bibby with the Sac State team. So he's priming the pump ;)

True but kind of a correction, David Stern saved the team.

He stepped in at the end of a long process and provided some money but keeping the Kings in Sacramento involved a lot more people than just Vivek. Of all of them, Kevin Johnson is probably the guy who is most responsible for the Kings still being in Sacramento.

There goes Kayte blaming "lack of continuity"

We have a former MVP, like 10+ All-NBA awards, like 20+ All-star appearances and the age of the guys that play are basically all 10+ years vets. What are we talking about here?

Some money? You make it sound insignificant lol. Kevin was also a big reason yes. But nobody is hating on Kevin. All the shots are directed at the other guy.

Regardless we are getting our doors blown off so dont matter at this point
