    Ben McLemore

Of course this is standard PR stuff. They arent going to bash players currently on the roster, but I think we can see the writing on the wall, that the logjam at the position will be thinned out one way or another.

    How to situate our backcourt...

Not picking up ITs option seems insane. Its at a very low cost relative to his contributions, and could be easily moved further into the season if you were looking to get something in return. Seems stupid to let him walk for nothing with such a cheap contract.

Franklin just doesnt fit with all the guards on the team, but damn, someone is going to get a steal with him in the second round. I'm still hoping we take a shot on Mitchell. Crazy upside for a second rounder and helps address the rim protector need.

    Mitchell's potential is intriguing.

That guard combination would be ideal. You could play any 2 of the three together at any time.

Mitchell is a very intriguing option. It appears that Pete saw him in a workout for for Denver when he was still there.

    Pre-draft workout schedules (merged)

Rather have Schroeder. Faster than MCW, better handles, better shot, and he also sees himself in the Rondo/Chris Paul mold. Not to mention he's just 19. Oh yeah, and there is actually tape of him playing man defense, guys just don't get by him easily.

Kingsfans 2013 Scouting Report: Michael Carter-Williams

At this point I'm a much bigger fan of Schroeder than MCW.

Who is available as 6th-7th pick

If Schroeder isn't an option I would go with CJ, fits best starting next to Tyreke. Still worried if he would be the type of facilitator this team needs though. Last thing we need is another score first guard.

If we need a facilitator with defensive abilities I'd rather have Schroeder than MCW.

    [Grades] Grades v. Bulls 10/31/2012

I too was pleasantly surprised with the rotation tonight. It was mostly a 9 man rotation, and with the exception of a couple of things (Taking Tyreke out when he was hot in the 1st quarter, and not bringing back JT quick enough down the stretch) I thought it was fine. And considering the...

Kings in town building Team Chemistry

I don't really blame him for this. The Bee is sending him to Napa because they want some Raiders TC coverage. He's just doing his job. And as far as getting interviews, I read that the team is trying to make this a media free get together so they can focus on themselves and not get distracted...

Kings get James Johnson, who is he???

You do realize that IT shot a better 3pt% than Thornton last year right?

Kings get James Johnson, who is he???

I don't agree that he doesn't improve the team. Maybe not greatly but he definitely makes the team better. First, he adds size to the SF position, which this team was seriously lacking. He also brings an inside presence at the position (led all SFs in blocks per minute last year), he can...

Kings get James Johnson, who is he???

Not like he's a great shooter, but his 31.7% from 3 last year was higher than the other SF's on the team (Salmons, Outlaw, Cisco).

Kings get James Johnson, who is he???

    Much better defender, 1.4 bpg.

Kings get James Johnson, who is he???

Yeah, and if he shows anything this year, the team can make him a RFA next offseason and likely bring him back.

Kings get James Johnson, who is he???

For one he led all SF in blocks per minute last year. Looks like a guy who doesn't need the ball and can play defense, but doesn't really fill the shooter role we would like out of the SF position. However, he did shoot the 3 better than any of the other SF's on the roster from last season.
