Luc Richard Mbah A Moute to Sac for picks

I don't think so. His expiring contract is too big of an asset, I doubt he's on the team past the trade deadline though.

    Kings sign Landry (part 2)

Pretty sure his comment meant that no other team reportedly offered a contract to Evans, let alone at 4/44

    Kings sign Landry (part 2)

No, he was leaving via free agency, but we were able to work a deal to not lose him for nothing and instead got an improving, tall pass first PG and 2 picks. You can't look at this as a normal player for player trade because its not. Evans chose to sign with NO and we found a way to get...

    Kings sign Landry (part 2)

We didnt trade him away, he signed with another team. And there arent enough glue guys on this team, and it gives us a post presence for when Cus goes to the bench. I'm good with this move as long as its a precursor to further moves that use our existing bigs and guards to bring back an upgrade...

    Kings sign Landry (part 2)

And...I think the biggest key it allows us to play a similar style of offense with Cousins on the bench. An inside out approach since none of the bigs that were on the roster have anywhere near the inside game Landry does.

    Kings sign Carl Landry

Examples outside of Lebron and Wade? Because with Evans and Cousins we r clearly not talking about 2 top 10 players in the league, and its not even close. And the new regime clearly felt their games didnt work well together, especially with the way they want to structure the team going forward.

    Kings sign Carl Landry

Defensive beast? Maybe when healthy, but he only started 32 games last year in the regular season and until the last couple weeks was playing through injury and largely ineffective.

    Kings sign Carl Landry

Because Aldridge reported that the Clippers were looking to sign Landry also, but he decided on Sacramento. If we waited he may not have been available.

    Kings sign Carl Landry

Obviously this being a good deal is contingent upon our glut of PF being thinned out with some trades. In no way do I think we go into the season with Hayes, JT, PPat, and Landry.

    Kings sign Carl Landry

The story fits. The thing is we are so used to having a short sighted front office that apparently you cant even comprehend the possibility that they are capable of developing backup plans. Calderon was plan 1, and had he signed Vazquez would have been shipped off for something else. He declined...

    Kings sign Carl Landry

I wrote this in the mediocrity thread, but I'll put it here to since it seems this is basically the same conversation.

    Striving for mediocrity?

See my above longer response as to Landry's most likely role, and its not going to be playing besides Cousins.

    Striving for mediocrity?

Not if Tyreke didnt fit into their vision of the team in the future that is build to accentuate Cousins' strengths.

    Striving for mediocrity?

I'll try and provide a constructive point of view on why I'm satisfied with whats happened so far. This team was a complete mess the last few years. Horrible defensive team, no offensive structure, bad ball and player movement, and pieces that just didnt fit together. Was Evans the main guy or...

    Evans for Vasquez

    Evans for Vasquez

Why do you think they would want Withey when they just had the opportunity to draft him but passed?

    Evans for Vasquez

*One can only hope we are losing in the playoffs, one step at a time. And why do people think they are amassing a perimeter oriented team when they clearly want Cousins as the focal point? I dont get it. *We wouldnt have had plenty of capspace without using the amnesty on Salmons. I think they...

    Evans for Vasquez

Comparing Tyrekes value to Vazquezs value misrepresents the whole transaction. You need to compare Vazquezs value to the value of getting nothing in return, because like it or not Tyreke was gone.

    Evans for Vasquez

Not true, they couldve cut Lopez and been allright.

    Evans for Vasquez

Why? We didnt take him on draft night when we had a chance, why would we get him now?
