Who says they think the Suns won't contend? Silly.

Beno and Martin look good so far, but we are so outmatched in our frontcourt it is just silly. They can score at will.

*Sign and Trade Ron Artest: 5 Yrs/$52M -- starting @ $8.4M and inflating +$1M/yr Artest + SAR + 1st round pick to NY for Rose + James + Balkman + 1st round pick All three would be expirings, and Balkman would have a chance to stick. SAR gets buried on their bench just like Rose and Artest...

Miller + KT + Douby to Denver for KenMart + Hunter + Atkins + 1st round pick This would be a size up move for Denver, to compete with the likes of the Lakers and other teams with big frontcourts. Miller gives them a good outside presence to balance their inside frontcourt players. AI...

Yeah, about that... My magic has been banned by the court system in 17 states including California. They've taken away all my wands. But you can bet, if I got one back, I would fairy-godmother KT off of our team in a heartbeat...

Yeah, I was thinking why would they want to lose Turkoglu. They probably wouldn't. But if for some reason they wanted Artest, they would have a much more complete team. Artest and Salmons would give them tremendous man and perimeter defense and they would be good #3 and #4 scorers. They...

So would you do it for Alexis Ajinca? Because I would. As for trying to dump KT, I've tried it many times and failed miserably. I'm beginning to think that dumping KT is impossible. But that won't stop me from trying. :D By my calculations, Orlando has $17.51M coming off the books this...

    Was Douby a wasted pick?

I think a good mud is organic clayey silt. But that is just me personally. :p

Kings Select in the 2008 NBA DRAFT??

Why? Just because the specific player I would like to see us draft has more potential than skills does not mean he is totally unskilled. He happens to be ranked second in the nation in shotblocking and for being so raw he really has a knack for it. Skills the Kings currently have in their...

In essence, I am taking a player at a position of depth, and parlaying his contract for a draft pick in hopes of landing a talent better than Salmons at a position of greater need. As I pointed out, there are some interesting PGs and bigs around Orlando's range of pick. Maybe you disagree with...

Garcia can handle more mintues and there are some nice SF prospects in the draft, if we got an extra draft pick we should pick one up.

Brought it up before, but it got buried amongst the plethora of trade talks around the deadline. Salmons to Orlando for Cook, Gortat and their first round draft pick. Both Cook and Gortat will be expirings so we could just cut them loose whenever. Salmons as Orlando's starting 2 guard...

Kings Select in the 2008 NBA DRAFT??

You are missing the point. Anthony Randolph projects as a SF. He has the height and frame to add weight and play PF, but I would rather keep him as a freak SF. Randolph's athleticism and quickness allow him to play SF, a position that Mr. Love couldn't dream of playing.

Kings Select in the 2008 NBA DRAFT??

It's not just about being undersized. It is about being undersized and underathletic. And the guys you mentioned are all extremely athletic. Love isn't totally unathletic, but he just seems so groundbound whenever I watch him. That doesn't inspire me about his NBA career. I think in the NBA his...

If we aquired Hughes in this trade, before the draft and after the season, he would have 2 full years remaining. Just the same as Miller's contract, but 1.5 million bigger.

    Sac/chi

Miller + Douby to Chicago for Hughes and their #1 draft pick. Chicago gets a rejuvenated Miller to take over thier Center position. That will take the pressure off of Noah, and Miller in the high slot opens up space for everyone else. Plus I could see Miller working well with Hinrich doing...

Kings Select in the 2008 NBA DRAFT??

That is not justification. That is just ignoring the argument under the guise that it doesn't matter because we are rebuilding. That makes no sense. Do we want to be rebuilding forever? Because that is the road we are headed down if we draft players with the same skillsets and the same...

Tell me what we get in Love that we couldn't get in the 2nd round with a guy like Richard Hendrix. I've brought 'ol Richie up before, but twas a long time ago. Anyway, a general breakdown of Hendrix: "Strengths: Has tremendous strength at the power forward position … Possesses sound post...
