Official Kings Fan welcome to Beno Udrih

I really wish he could be successful with the Kings, as this might be his last chance for a real NBA carreer. With him, it has never been a question about talent, hopefully being kicked by 2 NBA teams within a week will wake him up, and lit a fire under his belly to strive & work harder. Good...

Tim Duncan took less money for his next extention contract

Well, if TD could imitate Kareem or Malone career longetivity & effectiveness, i think a 37-39 yrs old Duncan might as well be worth it that supposed wink-wink career ending contract. ;) @Mr. Slim C, yeah, i think Bill Russell might inspire TD somehow someway about the meaning of winning. :)

Tim Duncan took less money for his next extention contract

Well, perhaps the fact that TD doesn't have to pay so many child & spouse support funds -Shawn Kemp, hellooo ?- or funding an expensive hobby like cars collection or gambling here & there, he has the exact luxury to make that kinda sacrifice.

Tim Duncan took less money for his next extention contract

Ha ha, don't take it as a patronizing act, totally not my intention -i knew the level of maturity & BBall knowledge in this forum is quite high. I just tried to broaden & explain my thought more thoroughly -perhaps to broad & thorough to be precise, LOL. :D Oh, i'm 30 yrs old by the way, but...

Tim Duncan took less money for his next extention contract

In all honesty, perhaps TD understand himself that he just might not be an MVP TD at the age of 35 & 36, thus sacrificing some money for a better chance of getting championship is simply a calculated decision based on his ultimate burning passion for winning. Though i must say he's more of...

Tim Duncan took less money for his next extention contract

@Bricklayer, do you think that both of their circumstances are the same ? I mean, the Spurs did first offer Tim the max allowable contract. On Shaq case, did Miami first offered him the Max, then he actually turned that down and accepted less for the betterment of the team ? I always thought...

    Who wins NBA championship 07-08?

While i have to thank you for your flattering reply, first & foremost, Beno Udrih sucks, and thankfully he's not our problem anymore -just traded for Minny for a (sure to be highly) protected 2nd rounder. He's waived right away. I sure hope the Spurs can repeat this year. Dynasty talk doesn't...

Tim Duncan took less money for his next extention contract

He's just an incredible player & sportsman. 11 mil US$ is certainly not a small amount of dough to be left on table. It's all about winning, and thankfully not just some sweet talking. Put your money where's its worth. ;)...

    Mavericks or Spurs?

Nobody's perfect, not even the Spurs. Remember Game 2 Duncan's inbound pass to Tony Parker who then walked out of the court thinking that he should be the inbound passer ? ;)

    Mavericks or Spurs?

Stackhouse's a clutch performer ? I think i'm gonna trust Detroit fans opinion regarding this issue -and there are A LOT of them in the Spurs board, fact that he played for such a long time there compared as a Mav

    Congrats Spurs

Thanx for the kindheart support and gracious comment. Like what i've said in the past, your team is a new one, with new identity and game, which is in a transition mode. Hopefully, with the right move and tweaking, you guys will be back next year as a true contender. Let's just say, the more...

Series notes: Wells says ball in Kings court

Sorry, i dunno really how the cba works, but can a contract be linked to some sort of performance clause ? Perhaps like a 48 mil full guaranteed contract, and 6 mil playoff bonuses if the Kings always become a division winner in the reg season each yr ?

Series notes: Wells says ball in Kings court

6 Yrs 48-54 Mil, the same kinda money that Magette and Manu got in '04. I think it's within Kings (Maloof's) budget and still quite respectful and fulfilling for Bonzi.

    Mavericks or Spurs?

And the fact that Stackhouse doesn't even have the clutch cred, makes me even more thankful for him taking that ill advised shot :D

Kobe vs LeBron: Who Would You Rather Have?

LeBron. He's younger, but already shown a poise and maturity of a wise veteran. His skill and ability don't dissappoint too. If your alpha dog is a tolerant guy, it's easier to build a winning team around him.

    Suns @ LAL Game 6

Yes, Suns win, finally Nash showed his MVP cred, and his teammates step up. Another lakers loss will perfect any Spurs and Kings fans day :D

    Suns @ LAL Game 6

    Hey, who's the winner ? CBS froze @105-105 ? OT ?

Who do you want your 3 core guys to be next season?

Man, Brad's a mercenary in my book, expendable to boot. But Bibby ? With due respect to knowledgeable Kings fans in this forum, i believe he's the foundation of your team, one of the best PG in the league. Might not be perfect. but who is ? Heck, even Parker said that he wanted to be Bibby. He's...

    Message from San Antonio

Actually, i believe the 01-02 Kings are the best ever. Hedo was still slim, and BoJax was the unstoppable 6th man. Man, the memory of that hellacious game 6th .........:(
