    Ron Artest Instruction Manual

I agree--its probably Brad. He and Artest go way back and if anyone can say "hey nutbag, what the @!$! are you doing...stop that" its Brad. He was that way with Ron when they were here--at least what I saw on the court.

    [LIST] An Axe to grind?

I'm a huge Bonzi fan (since his days here in Indiana at Ball State). While he has had some personality issues in each of his past 2 stops, I have been VERY impressed with him this year (having watched every Kings game). Perhaps he was just around the wrong types in Portland (easy to...

Artest in limbo for tonight's Kings game

I will be courtside at Pacers/Cavs tonight and am hopeful at the very least that Peja will be behind the bench. I'm holding out a little hope that he will play. I don't think Walsh/Bird are the type that will try to screw RA or the Kings. These guys are first class all the way. I'm also...

ESPN Insider Article about the Trade

http://insider.espn.go.com/nba/insid...had&id=2307632 Artest looked great in the summer league. The Pacers felt confident that his off-court problems were finally behind him. He looked focused in the preseason and the Pacers looked poised to provide a serious challenge to the Detroit Pistons...

Hopefully he will be the Good Krusty ("I love you") most of the time...

SI: Artest likely to make Kings regret wager

The decision here in Indiana (at least for the last 6 weeks) was that we would rather have nothing than a crazy all-star--that's why he was de-activated.

    Ron Artest Instruction Manual

From the classic "Treehouse of Terror" episode of The Simpsons comes the ultimate in possessed playthings: Evil Krusty! The otherwise well-mannered and beloved TV clown actually has two sides: one good, one evil! Throw the switch hidden in his back, and Krusty switches his five friendly phrases...

Will Artest play Friday? It may be up to Peja

I have seen that as well--Pierce is not his favorite person to try to lock down

What happens when former players visit former cities??

My guess is that Peja will be cheered. The other side of the question isn't a guess at all. Artest will be booed like never before on March 17. It will make his reception at the Palace (following the brawl) seem tame. I do hope that Peja gets cheered. He gave ALOT to the franchise.

Lets give Ron Artest the benefit of the doubt here..

Sometimes there is really nothing you can do, but sit back and hope for the best--both as a parent, and now as Kingsfan.

No word from Pacers after Artest meeting

That what we have been doing in Indy for the better part of 2 years. Paying lots of $$ for someone who isn't on the floor.

    Kings @ Knicks Game Thread

I'm planning to watch this game (and the Ville game) on split screens--Cisco should get some good minutes tonight.

No word from Pacers after Artest meeting

Here is pic of Ron leaving Conseco after his meeting w/ Bird. 2 Observations: 1) its the last time Ron will be at Conseco as a Pacer 2) he wore a suit to his meeting (meaning he was serious--that is a good thing--at least he still respects Bird/Walsh)

Agree with your post 100%. Peja deserved a better parting.

Artest Approves Trade: No word from Kings (merged)

This is what I have also said repeatedly--its not the fans/city/coach/management that makes Ron stay calm, etc.--its Ron himself. He had tremendous support here in Indy--as he will also have in Sactown. Perhaps the change of scenery, and having only played in about 30 games since 2003-2004...

    Some quotes for Artest's agent...

He wants NY for one reason--Isaiah the snake. Thomas always pandered to RA here in Indy and is just he kind of boss RA likes--one that doesn't make anyone do anything.

    Congrats Francisco Garcia

he is an awesome guy to have on your team. Have followed him closely as a Louisville fan living in Indy. Have watched every game this year with Kings. Cisco is learning, I can see it. He will ALWAYS play with heart and emotion, and he will NEVER be afraid. He has seen way too much in his...

Artest Approves Trade: No word from Kings (merged)

you hit the nail on the head. Peja will get more open looks in Indiana b/c of JO. The Kings do not have the kind of player inside that opens up the court for the perimeter shooters.

    Congrats Francisco Garcia

awesome...what do you think of his chances of getting an invite to the rookie game?? I would suspect his scoring ave will likely be around 7ppg by that time--and his FG% should be above 40% by that time. I'm sure that Kings fans have noticed that since the start of the year, he is somewhat...
