Sigh. Sorry we gave up on you. Best of luck in NO. You were a consummate professional, and will be missed.

Thank you so much Reke! I'm sorry you had to go, you were my favorite player in the whole league, you were so fun to watch, and I'll never forget you posterizing Gary Neal, or taking Kobe to school, or putting Metta in the spin cycle. I'll never forget the half-court shot to beat the Grizz. Thank you....thank you.
me too. favorite player. and i remember all of those plays

Man, I hope this guy gets a standing ovation when he comes back for his first game. He put up with a lot and stuck by our city when almost everyone was ready to leave us for dead. All the best Tyreke, sorry our time together had to end so soon. But I'll still be rooting for you! Future All Star.

Thanks Tyreke for some of the unforgettable moments of brilliance that you have given us over the last 4 years! I wish you all the best and may you reach your full potential with NO!

Go Reke some Havok on the rest of the league!

Once a King always a King!

I still believe this could have been the year. oh well, best of luck in New Orleans, Tyreke, and thanks for the memories.

P.S.: you'll absolutely love playing for Monty Williams, especially after these last few years.

Really sad that we're trading Tyreke. Easily one of the most exciting players in the NBA and a huge talent that was embarrassingly misused the last few years. All the best to Tyreke, there's no doubt that he'll go on to bigger and better things. Wish it could have been with us. Thanks for bringing excitement back to the franchise and for all the great memories.

Good luck Tyreke, you are a class act and you'll be sorely missed. :(

Tyreke was my favorite player when he was here. I wanted nothing more than to see him lead this team to the promised land. To be frank, the trade was devastating.

Good luck Reke. I'll be following your career.

A good mix from youtube:

damnit he was so fun to watch. the way he could make defenders look stupid was so fun, and its going to be awhile until we see a guy who can do that again.
also he sure had a lot of nice blocks during his 4 years here.
and also a lot of really nice passes, especially for a guy with "no court vision"

I will miss Tyreke, I really hoped he and DMC would from one of the best 1-2 punches in the league, I wish him the best in the Big Easy.

thank you so much for the memories, 'reke. until demarcus cousins came along, you were the only serious silver lining this team had on the other side of its glory days, a power guard with a nearly unstoppable rim attack. it's a shame that so many kings fans fail to appreciate your talent, but i wish you the best in new orleans, and i hope pelicans fans fully embrace your style of play. you can help make that team a winner...

edit: oh, and thanks again for this...

HOLY F***.

He goes out and takes defenders like Artest to school, and he makes it look so easy.

this probably has a lot to do with why people, including myself, are devastated to see him go. he was the main reason to watch the Kings games for the past 4 years.

i remember being on the way to the arena one night for a game, and hearing that Tyreke would not be playing that night, and i was pissed!

I literally did not have the heart to watch his goodbye to Sac video. Couldn't do it. The only FA who truly wanted to be here. It's just too much to watch at this time for me. I wish Tyreke all the best in NO and I hope he gets properly treated because he really does deserve all the best after we misused him year after year. Good luck to you Tyreke and i'll be an avid watcher and observer of your career!
