Did they have any other SF interviews today? Maybe it means we got a better deal in trade. I certainly am disappointed although the salary was enough to gag a maggot.

Kings wanted answer that Iguodala wasn't ready to give, so they pulled out and moved on. They'll regroup & decide on Tyreke Evans etc.

Edit: Double post. Jesus. We have people copying and pasting tweets in under 30 secs from the actual tweet taking place.

Kinda bush league seems to me. Our FO acting like the Fubu guy on Shark Tank with an ultimatum? bummer.

Thats crazy, Iggy would have come, how can you expect a guy to make that kind of decision in a few hours. Amateur stuff from our FO. I will laugh if we lose Tyreke also.

Hmm, not sure I like this move. It makes us look disorganized or desperate. It seems like we still could have had it both ways with just one more cap clearing salary dump. It's also too early for anything to get signed anyway, so what is the necessity to pull the verbal deal agreement here?

Iggy clearly has lost step ... Failed to realize Ranadive made his money in real time.

If offer was pulled, gotta' admit, that's a pretty slick negotiation tactic by Vivek, D'Alessandro & Kings Co. Precedent set. #NBAKings

One positive, and actually very possible scenario considering PDA worked with Denver, is that he knew Iggy wasn't taking it and instead would just use it as leverage against Denver for more money. Never really made sense why he'd want to come here at age 29 on his last big deal, anyway. Hmmm.

I would rather pay $14 million for Iggy in his prime, than $12 million for Tyreke who i still an enigma going into his 5th NBA season. Plus these are 4 year deals, not the ridiculous 7 guys like Kenny Thomas used to get. At worst Iggy is valuable expiring contract on the 4th season.

Dude, you can delete the links, it doesn't take you back to the original tweet anyway.

If you offer to overpay Andre and we did. And he still needs to think about it. To me he wasn't all in and if he isn't all in being in Sacramento. then the FO did the right thing. It would have been worse if Reke didn't want to come here because we made Andre our number one priority and Andre then chose somewhere else. We will get some players that make a difference. Have faith faithful.

I'm glad they pulled the offer. 56mil for a high end older role player would be crazy. seriously, that is superstar type money.

hopefully, they FO saw that Iggy has 2-3 good years left and realized the kings are not going to contend that fast. maybe they found out the structure of NO offer to tyreke and realized they couldn't get both reke and iggy and chose to concentrate on the player with more upside, tyreke.

by saving the money, they can resign tyreke and cousins.

Good choice, but next time PDA, think it through before you put out the offer to the world.

I'm ok with PDA pulling the offer.

I hadn't seen a single person who thought this was a good contract/move for sacramento... Besides a few Sacramento fans. The overwhelming consensus was it was a terrible move for he Kings.
