[Game] Kings Vs. Trailblazers 11/13/12

Johnson, Thompson, Thornton, Fredette have all taken more shots than Tyreke. Tyreke 3/7 with 4 assists. His assists could easily be double that right now due to missed shots. He obviously isn't gunning and is looking to facilitate... would like to see him Jimmer please.

OK, I'm all for firing Smart now and having Petrie coach.

We're already bad and continue to regress in huge part because our coach has no clue what the hell he's doing.

the more losses the more the ownership will want to keep the coach he might even get a bonus if they lose more lololz its the only thing i can think of lol

Maybe because Smart benches him and brings in a shooter, rather than play the two together. Tough concept, I know....

Reke created a number of good looks yet guys flat out missed them. That is Reke's fault? What a joke.
Then why is IT's fault that he has low assist totals with Reke and JJ as his back-court mates?

this just transitioned from being so painful to watch that I was losing interest into being such a train wreck freak show I can barely look away.

the best part of this game is Carmichael Dave's tweets.

@CarmichaelDave
On nights like tonight I wish Sign Lady was snap and put up a sign that says: "Eat a bag of rat turds you dicks"

Then why is IT's fault that he has low assist totals with Reke and JJ as his back-court mates?
Who said lack of assists were IT's fault? I've said a big part of IT's problems have been Smart pulling him and benching him repeatedly, killing his confidence. Now, IT hasn't played that well and has looked more for his than to set others up, but that's also probably because he feels he has to score to stay on the court as SMart pulls him for just about anything. Just like with Reke, not matter if It or Reke are playing well, they get benched.

I've said this the entire season. You cannot operate a successful offense without a single 2 or 3 who can hit a consistent jumper. Anytime Reke and JJ are in together, you see the defense pack all 5 guys in the paint and just dare those guys to take jumpers. No can deny that Smart needs to handle his rotations better. But there's only so much he can do when your team misses 20+ wide open looks a game.

It's no coincidence that our most successful lineup tonight had 3 players on the court who were capable of hitting a jumper (Jimmer, Thornton, Salmons). Defenses have to stay spaced on shooters and that opens up the lane for penetration, which we're excellent at doing.
