People are going to believe what they want to believe. There are bandwagon posters just like there are bandwagon fans. Find a cause, and jump on! If you oppose that cause, your swimming upstream.. Right now its fashionable to believe that the Kings are the armpit of the world, and of course, no one wants to visit an armpit. And while there is probably some truth to that, I say, who the hell cares? If anyone thinks that Petrie, and his cohorts don't know who the best players are, then I have some swamp land I want to sell you. Whether the player the Kings have at the top of their list comes in for a workout or not, and he's available, guess what? He'll be drafted by the Kings! So, Petrie will get the player he wants regardless of the politics that may have occured prior to the draft.
However, if you all want to sit aroung and ***** slap yourselves over how unpopular a place Sacramento is, have at it. Personally, I find it a little boring, and in the final analysis, irrelevant to the outcome.

I am not discouraged by the Kings draft situation at all. Sacramento is a great place for an NBA player to come and play and live as it always has been. I think we all like visiting places like SF, LA, New Yourk but not as many of us want to live there. The Maloofs, they will either get better at what they are doing of fail. I'm not going to sit around and worry much about it. Some want Petrie to go but I believe he is one of the best GMs in the league. Smart is no where near as bad as most on this site believe.Tyreke and Salmons aren't all bad either. Sitting and watching a game at Arco isn't bad either. Subscribing to the Bee and enjoying Voison and Jones hasn't hurt me a bit. Some afternoons I get to lister to Grant's show if he's talking about the Kings - when he's done with his rants I enjoy it. I even think the Lakers are not bad - they have played some of the most interesting and enjoyable games against the Kings, more thanb any other team, over my 27 years as fan. With my record I almost qualify as not being a member of KingsFans.com.
Have a great Kings draft and summer of team building.
