Your telling me. During the day, it's still in the 90's over here and it's mid October! I love it at night, it gets pretty cool, but not cool enough just yet. I am hoping to see some drastic weather changes in the next upcoming weeks.
Sounds fun. We took TJ around the neighborhood for a bit today. He was finally getting trick or treat out or at least Happy Halloween by the end of our little run. Turns out that despite the fact that hardly anyone comes to our house we live in an amazing neighborhood for trick or treating. I guess we are on the edge of the area being on a busier street so we don't get the traffic.
Kind of reminds me of when I was a kid growing up in East Sac and lived on 39th, we'd work our way up to 45th which was THE prime street and all the homes gave out full size candy bars, but very rarely ventured up to 46th. Now I know how 46th street feels
This year my boss decided he wanted to give out glow-in-the-dark silicone wristbands instead of candy at our Downtown Halloween Walk. I don't have kids, and therefore know nothing about what's cool these days, so I was totally unprepared for the insanity that ensued when one little one screamed THEY HAVE SILLY BANDS!!!!. I can now emphasize with anyone who works the opening shift at Wal-Mart on the day after Thanksgiving. At one point we had a line that stretched half the block (not an exaggeration) of kids trying to get a simple rubber band. I'm still mystified...
