Bosh is considered to be a top PF in the NBA and it seems over half of KingsFans want him on our team so I used his stats to compare with Carl Landry's stats.
Bosh 09-10 16.6 FGA 24.1 PPG .516 FG% 11.2 RPG is having the best season of his career in his contract year
Bosh Last 6 YRS 14.1 FGA 19.6 PPG .487 FG% 9.2 RPG
*FGA = Field Goal Attempts per game. Important in comparing scoring #'s.
Landry 11 GS w/Kings 12 FGA 17.4 PPG .530 FG% 7.0 RPG
Landry 2.5 YRS 1 GS w/Hou 10.7 FGA 12.3 PPG .569 FG% 5.1 RPG
*GS = Games Started. Landry started 1 game in 2.5 years with the Rockets according to NBA.com player stats. Basically his Hou stats are from coming off the bench.
Other stats are a wash between the two except Bosh is a better passer.
Simply if the Kings can get Landry more FGA's he can put up Bosh like scoring numbers. Look at the FG% Landry is a more efficient scorer. I know his rebounding numbers are low but look how much he's improved his rebounding as a starter. If he continues to improve I can see him reaching 8 or 9 RPG. Remember he's only had 12 career starts and 11 of them are with the Kings. I think the more he plays as a starter every aspect of his game will improve. He can defend too what more do you want. I don't understand how a lot of you are saying we need a star PF (Lee, Boozer, Amare, Bosh) when we have a younger still improving player in Landry who is proving to be just as good as any of them.
