Finally, Kings ended on top of a close game after many frustrating games in recent past. Kings won their first game in 2010 improving to 15-21 and 12-8 at home. Kings are 2-7 in the last 9 games beating Nuggets twice at home. Still 3rd worst in the West and 8th worst in the NBA Kings are hoping to improve against the powers of the Leastern conference as they will host the Magic anf then go East for 6 straight games which will determine whether they will get closer to the "PO race" or terminate wett dreams of few Kings fans and say goodbye to the platoffs.

Two former Kings will pay us a visit, both very welcome at ARCO. Barnes - a local kid and favorite will have many fans supporting him. Jason Williams, man ...His head never caught up with his talent. If it did - who knows where we would be right now. He put us on sportcenter every night, he put us on national TV, he cost us many games. He won his ring with Heat palying the way we needed him to play for us. Will always be one of my favorites and one of the reasons why I am a Kings fan.

We are all ready for the Kings team to get healthy and it is badly needed because rookies start to look pretty tired especially Omri. Things have been established so the return of Martin and Garcia should help the team especially if they are utilzed properly. Observing the chemistry will be interesting as well as shot and playing time distribution, defense and who gets the ball down the stretch. This cold work really good but it also can turn ugly, make no mistake about it.

We are 5 weeks or so away from the NBA christmas (trade deadline). We all hope that Santa (GP) will realize how good we have been in the last 3+ season and that he will breing us some nice gifts. In the recent past we obviously misbehaved because all we have been getting are socks (Webber trade) which should have been at least washed, undeerwear (Bibby trade), ugly ties (Miller trade) and other usless gifts that say - "I don't care about you but I am still being polite." Time has passed, socks underwear and ties are used up. They have been thrown away and those that we have left have holes and stains. We need something new and nice because we have been really good and patient and we suffered a lot. Dear Santa, please take the remains of the previous gifts and bring us some new cool toys. We need a tall tree that will give us some nice shadow in the paint. Make that couple of trees. We don't need any bonzai trees. We have plenty of those and they just look prety but provide no shadow and little oxygen here and there. Please Santa !

After hitting a closed window over and over again the little bird found an open one and got inside the house. The bird might not have been smart but it was resilliant and it stubbornly believed that there is a way trough. the bird is still young and it will have to learn to find alternative ways inside before it breaks its neck hitting the window day after day after day. In the meanwhile we felt relief and joy seeing the bird inside
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The usual roles were reversed because the Kings had to play "catch up" with the Nuggets who were pretty resliliant as it should be with a team that is 23-14. Hawes and Udoka played great off the bench and Kings shoot well from downtown which was crucial to neutralize the turnovers. J.R. Smith played great for us off the Nuggets bench.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
my matchups:
Billups vs Evans - good test for Tyreke as he plays someone who is also physical - good test and Reke aced it at the end
Smith vs 50 pts - wouldn't be the first time - not even close which was the key for us to win the game. That and him being a moron in general
Nene & Martin vs JT & Hawes - how bad will it hurt ? - the matchup was the even because of Spencer and Nene. One did great and the other one was Nene
Brockman vs Birdman - who let the dogs out ? - BrockMAN rules. He is transforming into volume shooter quickly
Noc vs ARCO rims - how bad will they hurt ? 1-4 in less than 10 minutes with the worst +/- inderx. You tell me.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
AWARD TIME
TDM - Graham was decent. Nothing spectacular
LW-VC -Nene could not get a doub;e double against our front line
JHA - Nocioni sux
MIKKI - Jason Thompson has been disappointing
SAR - Metuselah - Anthony Carter makes KT look like a rookie
RA&1 - JR Smith
Jax/Walk - Jr Smith
WTF moment of the game - yes you knew it - JR Smith

Magic are next and last time they visited ARCO - they put us into record books because it was raining threes at ARCO. I don't believe that it could happen again but you never know. Orlando is a good road team. Both teams coming off goos wins and both teams have same amount of days off. They have a big man in the middle. A really big man. He is so big he could eat pizza of Brockmans head and he probably would have to bend for it. Kings can win this if we can foul D12 enough and he misses enough and if Magic don't get hot from three. We will have several "big" man foul out. Their back court can never defend ours and that is what we have to try to exploit
-------------------------------------------------------------------
my matchups:
Evans vs Orlando back court - can reke penetrate anough to get D12 into foul trouble
Barnes & J Will vs TDM - I see it coming.
Brockman vs Gortat - this will be fun
Pietrus vs Nocioni - who is the Kings of bad shots ?
KT, JT. Hawes. Brockman, May vs 20+ fouls - can thay guard D12 ?
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Evans - finally
Beno - be more agressive
Brockman - good luck to you
JT - wake up man
Casspi - due for a great game
Hawes - keep this up
Udoka - great
rest - mateen

Magic are 3rd in the east, 25-12 for the season 11-8 on the road playing without Carter. They are well coached, pretty deep but sometimes they shoot too many threes. They also have a guy who shoots many FTs but don't make enough. That is our chance as well as the back court matchups. Barnes wins TDM. LW-VC will go to Piertus. Kings need this one but it won't be easy.
