Disgraced former track star and college b-ball player Marion Jones, has been reported as attempting to start a career in the WNBA.

San Antonio Silver Stars head coach Dan Hughes confirmed that Jones has been training with his assistant coaches, and is hoping to play for a European team this winter.

Anne Donovan, who had been serving as the interim head coach of the New York Liberty this past season, has just removed the "interim" part of her job title when she formally was named as the head coach.

Minnesota Lynx hire former Cheryl Reeve as their new head coach.

Reeve previously served as one of the Detroit Shock's assistant coaches. She also served as an assistant with Cleveland Rockers and Charlotte Sting.

The previous coach, Jennifer Gillom, tried to negotiate a deal for her to return to the Lynx in 2010, but talks broke down. She is reportedly seeking to replace Michael Cooper as the head coach with the Los Angeles Sparks.
