I sure wouldn't mind Casspi starting until Garcia returns. I just dont see the positives in Mason starting. Since it seems as though Westphal will be tinkering with the lineup throughout the season (which i strongly disagree with) we might as well try it out.
Because we had the #31 pick and traded down before the draft to #38 to get Sergio. Blair went at #37.
However, there is a reasonable argument that nobody thought Blair would fall to the 2nd round anyway, so it's not like we thought we had a shot at him at #31.
Dunno, I wish I had an answer to that...maybe P-Dub just wanted to get a feel for the cohesion of an 8 man rotation, even if it meant going down in defeat.
I'm happy for our new fans in Israel who stayed up to watch the game. Omri was one of the only bright spots I could see tonight. (See being via box scores)
Hawes seemed to play a lot more aggressive in the 4th quarter - I just wish he'd start that way from minute one. The kid can do everything he does against great players I'm not sure why he's been acting to passively lately

Seeing how he never got to the FT line, I don't think aggressive would be the word I would use. I find his late "surge" frustrating. It's like he didn't show up ready to play, and it took him 3 quarters of poor play to get motivated.
