ROLL IN THE ENORMOUS TIMPANIS!!!

Let's get some Pyro going!:

(That's the Tower Bridge in Sactown BTW.)

The long, long, long D(readed)O(ff)S(eason) is officially dead! Let's have a prayer:

(note the dyslexic "HOPE" on Martin's wristband.)

So, game 1, Preseason. We'll apparently get a good look at 'Reke, Mason and Sean May, as brand new Coach Paul Westphal has decided to replace 60% of a 17 win team's starting lineup for the exhibition. Normally such a move would warrant a , but its preseason baby, let it be eye candy.

What do you want to watch for? Its an earnest question, feel free to answer, get excited! I would like to see practice standout Brockman get a good chunk of playing time, seeing as how he's the biggest curiosity (to me, anyway), in our lineup coming into the season. He's a Basketball player in a Football players body and he likes to rebound. Awesome. I wanna hold out hope that he's Westphal's newest version of the Round Mound of Rebound, the incomparible Charles Barkley. (Don't even start, you know hope abounds right now!)

So get ready. Get in your purple shirts, bust out those Kings cups you were happy to overpay for at the arena, and pour yourself a brimming glass of half fullness. Lets kick off the season the right way: With a big, fat, impressive "W".

GO KINGS!!!!!!!!!!!

Edit: do we want awards for Preseason?

I think I owe it to myself to find a way to attend tomorrow night. Anyone ever brought a not-quite 1 year old to a game? Because I think that's the only way wifey signs off on it.

Nice start ryanandty. I love the pictures. Awards are totally optional. You started the thread, so it is up to you.

Looks like I'll have to follow this one the way I used to follow all games in '94... keep refreshing the box score...

Unless anyone knows an alternative...

The KHTK online feed has the sharks. But if you tune in on a stereo it has the kings game. I had to get my old boombox out... lol

It's incredibly frustrating.

Even going to the 'Listen Live' on the Kings.Com website for today's game just takes you to the broken NBA Audio League Pass page.

I can't believe there isn't some way to listen to the game which we all know is being called on 1140.

I'm out of the country and was very pleased that I was able to get Sportsline on the feed leading up to the game. They kept talking about the upcoming Kings game, and then, it switched over to the Sharks. I guess I shouldn't have woken up in the middle of the night for this.

I guess I'll check out the box scores and fan recaps when I wake up.

WTF… I can watch the Sac States women’s volleyball LIVE on the internet. But an NBA team cannot even make a radio feed available?????????? This is very sad and pathetic!
