Mikki Moore to Golden State

At the start of the offseason, Warriors general manager Larry Riley said one of the team's pressing needs was to "add some beef."

We're not sure acquiring Mikki Moore qualifies as "beef," but Moore will give the Warriors more size on the interior. In fact, you could argue that the addition of Moore will mean the Warriors have one of most slender frontcourts in the NBA this season.

ESPN is reporting the Warriors and Moore have agreed to a one-year contract worth the league minimum of $1.3 million. Moore's agent, Mark Bartelstein, has confirmed this.

The Warriors' front line now includes Andris Biedrins, Anthony Randolph, Brandan Wright and Moore, none of whom can really be considered a banger of any sort.

Also, it appears the Warriors will be re-signing C.J. Watson, who has been the subject of sign-and-trade rumors this summer with the Orlando Magic.

Watson announced to his Twitter followers that he'll be staying with the team. Watson had said two weeks ago that he'd rather play for the Magic than the Warriors.

Watson will likely agree to a three-year, $4.5 million contract that has been in front of him for much of the summer.

Beef and Mikki Moore doesn't even sound right in the same sentence. As far as i'm concerned, he will be a second rate Biedrins. Another horrible season for the Warriors on the way.
