Wow! That would have been one of the greatest game winners since....well, LeBron.

Courtney Lee needs to work on his layups. Two game-winning layups blown. Damn, go Magic in OT.

Redick was one of my favourite players coming out of college. I mean that guy shot the lights out at duke. And in the NBA he's missing wide open 3s and such. what gives?

Other than the 02 Lakers, this will no doubt be the most undeserving NBA champion in the last few decades.

And bozz, was that sarcasm, or did someone actually distrupt the backboard on Lee's shot? Damn, he really should've made that.

The NBA 3 is further out. Ya wouldn't think it'd make much of a difference, but it does

In and out has been the story tonight. Magic take 3 in Orlando. Book it.
The Magic really needed this one (and they were one Courtney Lee layup away from doing so)--because even if they win the next three, the Lakers are still in the drivers' seat. Another problem is that the Magic, for an elite team, aren't really an elite home team--so that might present more problems than usual for them. So just a tough loss--they really should have taken this game because Lakers lapsed into one of their lazy hibernation modes at different points of the game. It's hard to see them defying the odds now.

I think SVG wasted a game trying to get Reddick confidence. He needs to figure out his guard rotation. Jameer and Hedo are the best ball handlers, and the Magic have been lucky enough to get away with the other team's defenses not recognizing their lack of guys to run the offense.

Gasol's hand was in the net/touching rim, but shot was already way off, so I can't see how could they call it. By the book, it was probably a goaltend.

Magic got jobbed. Zebras and the Lakers team up for victory yet again...

If Howard would just develop a damn post game he would be unstoppable.

JJ Reddick is horrible, he should never be allowed off the bench if SVG can help it.

I wish Lee would have hit that last second shot...

He has 0 confidence. He always seems to be looking to pass rather than shoot. And for good reason, the man can't shoot to save his life.

1-6 from behind the arc and 2-9 overall?? Give me a break. Reddick should be at the end of the bench all game

In college he shot from behind the NBA 3 line sometimes... a lot of his normal catch and shoots were from around the NBA 3 distance.
True. But he was a star in college. Coming into the NBA being just another average joe must've shattered his confidence

Oh man, the Magic had a beautiful last second shot and missed. I can’t wait to see the next game in Orlando. That should be a great game...Lets go Magic!

And I just don't understand the Magic's lack of using Howard at the end of games, in the last overtime. They have this big guy - who can overpower both Gasol and Bynum and they don't position him in a place to just dominate the hoop.

I love how they use the whole team, but when they're falling behind, it seems that some of the players don't look inside.

If there's a weakness in Orlando, I have to believe it's SVG's lack of ability in making critical coaching decisions. I saw - earlier in the playoffs - several times when he just looked like he was in way over his head. And didn't Dwight Howard actually call him out about something like that?

Maybe he should have hired brother Jeff? Of course, JVG is so enamored with the Lakers he'd probably have to guard himself against forgetting which team he was coaching...as if he'd ever accept anything less than first billing on the bench. :p

They need to learn to get Dwight farther into the paint so he doesn't have to dribble. When he dribbles he turns it over just about every time on the double teams. His dribbling is god awful and a huge liability. They also need to pass a little higher too him, to avoid costly TOs.

Uh oh... That means I actually have TWO things in common with the Big Cactus. Unless, of course, he's truly reconciled with the brave little soldier, which I seriously doubt.

:p
