I dislike reggie evans for some reason, and I just don't know why
I was a student at Iowa when Reggie played there. The kid could never make a free throw, would throw the ball over the hoop and get his own rebound like 10 times in a row and played on the most underacheiving team in Iowa history. They were #2 at one point and finished 5-11 in the Big Ten. That's what I remember about Reggie Evans.... LOL

We all knew this was gonna be a hard season for us, but when we play games like this, they aren't even enjoyable to watch. Yeah, Spencer and Thompson are great, but we don't have a chance to win. I don't mind losing, its the fact that we look like a freaking highschool team and all the other teams fans look at us as a joke. They have always looked at the Kings as a joke, but whats different this season is that we actually are one. Im really depressed right now. Hopefully Brad and Garcia are like the second coming of Jesus when they get back, but i just don't know how much they will help.

I really don't believe the team is going to be quite THIS bad. It's hard for a team that's unsettled to develop any cohesiveness starting the season with a road trip. I'd at least like to see what they look like on the upcoming homestand.

so...the fact that entire team often looks completely lost on both ends of the floor. is that the coaches fault? the players? everyone?

Kings have always had an artificial inflation in our W #s because fo the home court advantage. But that was because of the fans. If they don't show, have to wonder if we will get hat anymore.

This isn't the coaches fault. We just don't have veteran leadership. We need someone to pass it to when times get rough. Yeah we have Martin but he usually doesn't start getting the ball and making baskets until we are down by 20 points. We need a guy who can stop the bleeding, and we simply don't have one.

I'm saying more as a general principle, teams don't "find themselves" on the road. If they're going to develop any cohesion, it's going to happen at home. I have no doubt they're bad enough to justify liquidating veterans at the first opportunity and playing kids as much as possible, as I've advocated since the summer. But given that they aren't playing all 82 on the road I think some people are getting a little out of hand.

Hall of Famer
Well...

On the plus side, Hawes continued his good play. He's really been hitting the boards too.

JT.....Ballin'. He would have shot 8/10 if it wasnt for those 2 buzzer beater attempts from beyond 30 ft. 6 boards and 5 assists too. Bad ft shooting and 4 turnovers, but that was probably home court willies.

Look, JT and Hawes were again probably the best things we had...but a whole lot of theri damage was done in garbagetime. Better than nothing, but whiel the game was on they were only marginally effective while we got thumped in there. Picking up some late numbers against a guy older than John McCain (Donyell Marshall) is secondary.

Sadly, for those already counting down to the draft...don't get your hopes up. This is looking to be a weak lottery.

4 games in...we're missing two important players, should help us win a game or two. Plus, we really don't have a go-to guy, or a strong second option. Only thing that's bothering me is the lack of effort...hope we haven't reverted to Muss-level energy, that was a pretty unbearable season to watch.

Mikki needs to pick it up, as does Beno.

This is not just the worst team in the NBA, it is looking like the worst team in the last few years of the NBA. I now it is early, and I know we were on the raod, but eek.
