i disagree on a few points.
1) barely won: they won 3 games by a total of 6 points.
2) there were a few officiating travesties (mostly in game 5)
3) mavs are a better team. they just played worse.
1) I dont think that is barely winning. I think that is having more desire than the opposing team. If a team wins all 82 games in a season, but wins each game by 1 point, would you say they barely were the top team but almost the bottom team?
2) this is an opinion here, and your entitled to yours. I personally think the refs did a good job in game 5, and if the calls were made in the 1st quarter, than nobody would say they were bad calls.
3) again an opinion. The Heat are a more talented team. The Heat lose this series without Walker, Payton, Mourning, and Williams.
And for some reason I think they still would have won even if Shaq didn't play
. Wade was the equalizer, and the supporting cast did what they were supposed to do: support. Riley built the team to support a superstar named Shaq, but it ended up being Wade instead. The Heat have their problems, they aren't perfect. But they played with more heart and enthusiasm and desire, and they got results. Honestly, the Mavericks were lackluster in the last three games. The only fiery guys were Terry and Dirk.
