I can't really be upset at Fox for requesting a trade. He spent 8 years here and was our lone bright spot on a team with a lot of dark days. He was monumental in bringing the Kings out of the gutter and finally making the playoffs.
Looking at the reasons for Fox wanting out, I think it just comes down to personal preference and happiness. We started off the season poorly, but we've played great after firing Brown. However, this bounce back still wasn't enough for Fox to decide he wants to remain here long-term. It sounds like he's just ready for a new basketball chapter elsewhere. If you're the Kings, just get the best offer available. I think we have to see how far we can go without Fox being our #1 guy.
I hope fans don't send hate towards Fox. He's given a lot to this city, and while I would've loved to see him retire a King, we'll be alright without him
