Debbie downer syndrome? Really?
Let me see how this wasn’t a great win:
- Franz Wagner out
- Garry Harris out
- Cole Anthony out
- Markelle Fultz out
- Jonathan Isaac out
- Joe Ingles out
- Kings barely win by 2pts in double OT. Come on.
Calling me a Debbie downer because I’m critical of bad basketball… yeah ok bud. Maybe I’ve been right to check in less around these fronts with all these weird aggressions even in a win?
Sure dude, whatever floats your boat. You did the same thing in the Keegan thread, you've done that with Huerter the whole year. You approach things through a massively negative lens lately and it's just not a whole lot of fun to read and digest. Sorry. I don't choose to view the Kings that way, partially because I'm a fan of this team and I want to believe the best in it. But I've been posting here long enough that people know I'll call out bad play/coaching/players/ideas when I see it. If you can't handle the slightest criticism to your postings, then yeah, maybe take a break from the forum and the team for awhile. Obviously getting to you too deeply.
Was it perfect? No. Our star player was atrocious. But how many games last year did we win in crunch time when Fox was off like this? We had 3 dudes step up in a major way (Domas/Monk/Murray) and pick up the slack for a pure gut-check win in 2OT on the second night of a B-B. After the gutless performance last night, I'll take that.
Does this mean I think we're destined to go win a title because we won this game? No. But I think this was a great response to the "effort" shown last night and the amount of heart the majority of guys played with.
