Some credit goes to CoachBrown and staff for doubling on Curry so he doesn’t beat us
They finally played him to his side and forced him left or right and also met him up high on screens. Been waiting for a coaching staff to figure that out for 10 years. When they had KD you couldn't do that since you're burnt by him on the pass, but they have a different team now.

Mike was player of the game
thought it was at least slightly interesting that he let GSW do their run to retake the lead before we shut them down without a timeout, and it was a foul call that calmed things down.

Still another win where after trading baskets we basically shut them down in the final two minutes. I can get used to that.

To be fair, our current head coach was on their bench all last year all the way to the championship.

If anyone is to figure out a way to slow down Steph, you'd think it would be Mike Brown.

Well it took him time. The first couple of games he looked to do the exact wrong thing. They went back to the drawing board and brought out the kryptonite.

I predicted us to be 4-8 through 12 (with a win vs. Portland) and still finish over .500 so I'm feeling pretty happy to be sitting 6-6 right now and any questions about buy-in with Brown are long gone. I love him at his pressers where he talks up the guys too, how great Fox is, today before game he was talking about Huerter. Gotta love playing for a guy like that. I assume he learned from whatever went wrong with Kobe and co. All that but he never makes excuses for them either. Tough but fair.

Star game by Fox. It looked like it would be quiet, but Fox is turning into the kinda player where you see he only has 9 points in the 3rd quarter and you know to expect a big 4th quarter. That’s the mark of a star player.

superstar game by Domas. 26-22-8 is obscene.

great performance by Keegan. Hopefully he can start bringing this show in the road but it’s normal for rookies to play better at home.

another steady game by Huerter.

Barnes had a big bucket at the end but mostly quiet: I’ll take games like this with preferably 11-12 points if Keegan plays well. But I would still like more offense more consistently:

good game from the bench. Monk is a game changer. TD played well.

Also, Metu has been a positive player since he became part of the rotation. You see his confidence is growing like he belongs out there

the team defensive effort was there

6-6. I do expect a W vs Brooklyn

I really thought they were gonna blow it during that rough stretch in the 4th, but their composure and focus really kept them in the game. Not sure kings would have had the mental toughness to be able to do that last season.
