I didn't get to hear it. Did he say anything about the coaching? I feel like most of the radio personalities have been extremely reluctant to say anything other than "Trust Joerger and his staff" since he's been here.

Popovich is the only coach in the NBA that you can trust completely.

That little nuance is significant. It why stores sell things for $9.99 or 19.99

Grant & Doug just did a great interview with Joerger.

Were talking about Randolph some, their recent success on the road, the young players development & minutes. I'm not sure if they do a online rebroadcast or anything, but was worth the time.

I'm still learning about podcasts but this sounds like something I'd like to hear, especially when Doug asks the questions because he truly knows whereof he speaks. Guess I'm gonna have to try and find it. Thanks for the heads up. :)

Their show is also in podcast form. They break it down into hours.

Hey Dave, could you talk about the Bratz firing some on the radio tomorrow?

The timing of this is kind of peculiar. Seems like something that would normally be done in the off season, or if you know if someone else may be on the radar to replace him.

I listened to The Fiery One for the like 5 minutes yesterday for the first time in a long while. Grant told a STH to not renew his season tickets if he was upset with the Kings switching to tank mode now, and that it was ridiculous to ever think they would win anything this year.

I heard it too. Steve was dudes name. He was pretty much bitchin and I don' disagree with Grants premise. I don' even disagree with Grants going off on him. Dude wouldn't even have a conversation, it was just ***** and moan. I felt the same way as Doug, the team could have won 30-35 games but Grant made an excellent point that that win total is treadmill. We need to develop the rookies and young cats and get a high draft pick and shoot for a stud. Then the rebuild should be complete.

For sure, but if I paid thousands of dollars for season tickets and had a Kings employee yell at me to not renew my season tickets if I wasn't happy with tanking then I'd be all :confused:

It's a radio show, and I get his tactics for going Stephen A. Smith on this guy, but the two hats always makes me chuckle. Wouldn't be surprised if he is pushing a ticket pack or single game tickets for the next game tonight on the telecast. :D

Yeah, I totally get that point. I think Grant just got pissed off and let dude have it. But THAT'S his shtick lol. Too bad Steve didn' ask Doug instead. Would have been better for him

I think it would be fascinating to explore how and when we as consumers are okay excusing assholish behavior from someone because, "THAT'S his shtick," and how and when we're not.

Commitment for next season was December 27th with the first payment January 1st. Little late to not renew and not lose the first payment.

they need to change the payment plans to start March 1 or April 1st for the next year. It's ridicules to have to commit before the current season is even halfway over.

Well that would be making an assumption and we all know what the person making an assumption looks like.

When I said what I said about that's his shtick, in my mind, I was thinking it should surprise no one. Not to excuse the behavior. Just that it isn't surprising considering the source.

Next time if you need clarification just ask. Don't assume.

Actually, I took your comment the same way Slim did. In my mind, you excused Grant for his rude boorish behavior because of his "shtick." Slim thinks it's fascinating. I think it's puerile, which is primarily why I haven't listened to Grant's show except for very rare occasions in years.

Grant gets away with crap nobody else would get away with. If I wanted to dig up the old refrain, I would again bring up that it's pretty hypocritical of him to act all Jim Romish on his radio show and then expect to be respected when he dons his other cap.
