Not saying there isn't quality, but except for maybe Zach Collins, the floors of the players become a lot lower. Markkanen showed great shooting ability from all over the floor, good touch around the basket, and good pick and roll defense for a guy with defensive question marks. There is a reason many mocks have him going as high as 7. I'd be ecstatic if the Wolves or some other team takes him before our 10th pick and we have a shot at someone else, but I'd rather keep the pick and take him over trading down for two of Portlands first rounders or something else along those lines. Right now we don't know what we have with Skal, WCS, and PapaG. They all showed flashes last year, but nothing that should keep us from drafting bpa and that would definitely be Markkanen.
