Better yet, maybe a 3 team deal?
Chicago Gets: Rudy Gay, Ben McLemore, & Kings 2017 1st (Protection lowered to top 3)
Denver Gets: Doug McDermott & Bulls 2017 2nd
Sacramento Gets: Gary Harris, Nikola Mirotic, & Jose Calderon
And then follow it up by dealing Koufos for a late 1st rounder to a team who missed out on the defensive bigs this offseason? (gives us another young asset to bring in and develop while not needing really anymore big man depth)
PG - Collison/Calderon/Temple
SG - Harris/Afflalo/Richardson
SF - Casspi/Barnes/Butler
PF - Cauley-Stein/Mirotic/Tolliver/Labissiere
C - Cousins/Papagiannis
Then next year you have around $64 mil in cap space (not counting Mirotic's qualifying offer, Bogdanovic coming over, & the pick we got for Koufos) with these guaranteed contracts:
PG - Temple
SG - Harris/Richardson
SF - Barnes
PF - Cauley-Stein/Labissiere
C - Cousins/Papagiannis
Again, Lowry, Holiday, Teague, G. Hill, Hayward, & Porter would be my FA targets and even Collison, Casspi, & Mirotic would be guys I would probably want to bring back as well (depending on who else we could get). Signing Hayward, signing G. Hill, signing Bogdanovic, resigning Mirotic, & resigning Collison would leave us looking like a very strong team.
PG - G. Hill / Collison / Temple
SG - Harris / Bogdanovic / Richardson
SF - Hayward / Barnes
PF - Cauley-Stein / Mirotic / Labissiere
C - Cousins / Papagiannis
