Observations form being at the game:
-Demarcus was limping in the first half, particularly after made baskets and running back in transition. Also was late coming out of locker during warmups, clearly was a game time decision, wanted to give it a go and they probably aired on the side of caution at halftime. No need to risk injury in a game we were always likely to fall short in.
-Rondo looked great. Not only was he able to attack CP3 and Jordan inside but his shooting was solid. Also he is a great communicator on the court, multiple times I saw him call out the Clippers play, the guy is a student of the game. I was worried after game one, but it seems he has made a conscious effort to be more agressive.
-WCS is/will be such a stud. The dude just gets deflections left and right, has great rotations and when he was switched on guards like CP3 and Crawford they wanted nothing to do with WCS. What other big man in the league can make that claim? Those are two of the best ball handling guards in the league who lick their chops when a big man is switched on to them.
I like that we are starting to see a rotation take form. It seems the protocol is for Rudy to be the first man benched for Omri, then Koufos and Collison for one of Rondo or Ben. Bellinelli then comes in, Rudy comes back in, WCS comes back in for Cuz and it eventually flows to a mix of Cuz, Gay, Koufos, Bellinelli, WCS, Collison, Rondo, Omri. Kind of crazy that we have 8 players who Karl trusts to be in key moments of the game. Ben seems to be the guy on a short leash, for good reason.
-God I hate the Clippers. Flopping, complaining about everything to the refs and getting the whistles because of it.
