Yeesh. Looks like an ugly game although I like the balanced scoring, I suppose. Cousins 6 for 16 from the field isn't all that great to see though. Can Karl please get his butt in the painted area? I don't understand this game plan. This style of play won't get Big Cuz to the foul line much, and we're pretty much just bailing teams out

Funny. I was listening to Koufos in the post-game interview, thinking that he sounds like his family must have emigrated when he was very young but, according to his B-R.com profile, he was actually born here. Which, I guess, makes a lot more sense.

Pre-season. Karl is experimenting with a lot of things, but primarily he's trying to figure out where everyone not named Cousins or Rondo or Gay will fit the best. Have faith...and patience.

Karl said he'd be sitting one starter each game. Tonight was Rudy's turn. Gary G. mentioned it during one of the breaks.

Well if nothing else these first 4 games seem to have identified a pretty clear group of core rotation guys:

Cuz
WC
Koufos
Gay
Casspi
Belinelli
Rondo
Collison

And then Ben should be #9, but that situation has to be resolved. If he's not the starter we are left scrambling and he's just some dude who scores 6-7 pts off the bench.

But Acy and Butler have not shown they belong in the rotation and feel too much like Kings benchers of the past, putting up anemic numbers and watching leads blow by.

Anderson and Curry might look a little more interesting right now. Think Anderson at least could play in a pinch. Moreland might have a chance as the emergency/4th big.

Agreed. I definitely think Curry will get some play. And I think David Stockton will be Mateen Cleaves.

I loved this game Yes I know it was imperfect but some games are. Good Teams win them anyhow.

My only issue is when Cousins was knocked down and lost his headband George Karl should have let the Refs have it. IMO if Boogie saw and heard his Coach have his back he would not be so freaking pissed off.

Cousins is the AAA real deal All Star. He deserves the same respect as the other All Stars around the Association.

COACH!!!! BACK YOUR MAIN MAN!!!!!

My opinion and YMMV.

I wouldn't be surprised to see this group be the starters.

1. Rondo
2. Collison
3. Rudy
4. WCS
5. Cuz

And have some nice shooting off the bench in Curry, Bellineli and Butler being able to keep the scoring up. Maybe even try Ben at the 3 for extended mins in that reserve unit.
