From what you've heard from where? Are you basing this on what you've actually heard him say on his show, or based on second-hand interpretations of what he's said? Because, based on my recollection of what I've heard him say, you're misrepresenting his comments somewhat, and I say this as someone who genuinely loathes Napear.
Napear always had issues with players that weren't his buddies. He used to throw chris Webber under the bus on a regular basis. I wish he would just stop with his torching of kings players, because he does nothing to make players want to come to sacto , when your play by play announcer is grilling the teams best players on his radio show everyday.
Feels like someone made an ambiguous comment, and everybody started speculating afraid to be left behind and seem insignificant.

It's the inherent evil of the twenty-four hour news cycle. The market can't bear for there to not be a story, so someone has to make **** up.

Could just mean he is listening. He has given his all to this franchise and this fan base, what has he gotten in return? This season, in particular, was a maelstrom of lies and bungling ineptitude by the people who are supposed to be 'handling' things. The recent hiring of Coach Karl and Vlade are steps in the right direction. Their first and foremost directive should be talking to him and proving things will be different, that they can now, as currently constructed, be trusted. They have lost the faith of both he AND the fans. If they trade him, they lose my trust entirely, as it would be the most asinine, monumentally stupid move of all time. Their job is to build a team around one of the most amazing talents in the current NBA. Be thankful you have that piece in place and get to it.

So when Melo takes max to go back to NYK it's cause he doesn't care about winning but when Cousins does it, it's cause he wants glory over money. I'm not saying your not right but I don't think you can say 100% that that's true. At this point in Cousins life (I think he's 24) I assume he wanted the max money and we gave him a guarantee a year earlier than we had to as a sign of faith.
Why would you paint anyone in a negative light who walks around the court scowling and arguing with the refs constantly? I love Cousins play. But short of a couple of weeks at the beginning of this season he has appeared to be difficult all the time. I hope he stays and becomes the best Center in the league. But if he goes I couldn't say I didn't understand why. They just need to get a good deal for him. And Grant needs to STFU!
