Cousins Cryptic Tweet

Honestly....

If Cousins gets traded there is ZERO reason for it beyond him disagreeing with Vivek's idiocy. There is absolutely NO trade out there that will give us fair value for a 24 year old 24/12/4 center. I wouldn't trade him for Lebron, I wouldn't trade him for Durant. Cousins has proven he can be SHAQ DOMINANT out on the court. You don't trade a player with multiple years left on his deal that can do what Cousins does.

They shipped Malone out for insubordination. Same with Shareef. Now, if this actually goes down and we lose Cousins because he doesnt agree with Vivek's bogus crap......Dang. That is the last straw.

Vivek better realize that he's trading away a good chunk of his fan base along with Cousins....
 
I hope Cousins does stay and plays well for us but if they trade him I won't be jumping ship to another team, end of the day unless the world is ending there is always hope for things to change and I'll just find another Kings player/players that I can root for. It's not all doom and gloom Cousins if he does get traded has to no matter what get a ton of quality/potential back in return.

Hopefully Vlad/Karl cam sort things out for the best.
 
What have I learned this season....that people need to stop putting so much doom and gloom into everything Cousins tweets. Oh and maybe smile more in pictures...like that guy in my avi.

Karl's pregame interview said he hadn't seen him, that he asked Pete if he was coming and that he hoped to see speak to him tonight. Oh and for the most part their day to day communication has been good. All about what Cousins wants and what Karl wants offensively

Yet all people are running with is that he hadn't seen him...smh

I've said before what Grant says can be quite dangerous as he does have insight and is a mouthpiece.

To a certain extent, this organization doesn't deserve Cuz. Time and time again they've shown great examples of how not to treat your franchise player. Given Grant is handed talking points, this to me comes across as yet another leak painting Cuz in a negative light. Why is the question.

This FO has telegraphed every move they've made with all manner of tweet and leak.

... Maybe it doesnt happen, but right now we're in the early stages of a pattern that we have all seen before on multiple occasions over the course of this dumpster fire season.

exactly. If i had to put my money on it, i would bet that DeMarcus Cousins doesn't play a game in the new arena in a Kings uniform.

i hope to god that is not the case
 
LOL, I get, that tweets are worrisome, but Karl's interview is worth watching to the end. Karl said: "We communicate with Demarcus on day-to-day basis, and are going to build our relationship, until it's where it needs to be", "We're 28-29 team, with Darren we would've been 35 win team, so I certainly see a lot of improvement next season", "Would like a stopper, who would embrace that role", "Demarcus and Rudy, when they played together, looked really good", "Would like 1 pick, 1 FA and improvement from guys on the roster".
There might be a problem, but Karl isn't it.

I think Grant stirring **** up and laying blame for not playing at the feet of Cuz, if true, is much more of a red flag than that Karl interview.

Grant doesn't attack players or coaches who are going to be here long-term. And it strikes me as something he was told to say by a member of the Kings, since again, he is given talking points. You don't do that to your franchise player for no reason. Seems to me something is going on behind the scenes.
 
I simply cannot waste any more time trying to figure out cryptic tweets or what the drivel that comes out of Napear's mouth really means. I think I've finally reached drama overload. I can't buy into any more intrigue and, quite frankly, at this point I don't give a rat's patoot who says what. If I see an official announcement from the Kings, then I'll pay attention. Otherwise, it's all just blatherskite.

He has at least twice and possibly more. Once with Chris Webber (long before 2005) and once with Bobby Jackson.
 
Seeing as how the FO prides itself on being so open and communicative with the fans.....

They need to come out with a statement post haste, and it better have the words "Cousins" and "untradable" in it.

But all they have been saying is stuff like: we'll make a deal if a good one comes up...Nobody is untradable....Etc Etc...

I heard some of it. He also kept emphasizing over and over again, that..."you don't vote a player to the NBA All First Team, when they've only played 59 games". I actually agree with that point, but it was "interesting" going along the lines of your point, how he stated it about 5 or 6 different times
