OK now, it's half time and the game is tied. How many people thought we would be that close to being ahead? I personally was expecting a blowout.

Our expectations have been submerged to negative infinity, so it's no wonder we're celebrating.

Expectations were high after the good start, which made the fanbase once full of rage after the FO axed Malone. Then a lot of us started to become satirical. Then few bothered as the jokes ran out.

Is Klay on the Raps? There aren't many shooters that can explode like that. Hey, I saw his dad play a lot in college along with Kevin McHale and Flip Saunders. It was a great team. Oh, and if you think Kevin is slim now, you should have seen him as an 18 yr old.

I can't even feel positive over being tied at halftime. Not good defense so far. As often in Kings games these days, the first team to play some defense will likely win.

I use the term "explode" very loosely there....I'm not expecting a crazy 25+ point quarter by a Raptor but I'm saying something in the norm of 15 points in a quarter by a Raptor.

I am listening to the Raptor broadcast and both their announcers said they believe the Kings were on the right track before firing Malone and have taken steps back since then.

It's not an earth-shattering revelation or statement, but NBA related press has been avoiding directly saying this for some time. It's mostly come from pundit press. Kings fandom press and fans.

This will be my first major criticism of Cousins: watch the TOs man. His classic TO is a pass to someone in the paint or close. He has done that since a rookie.

Actually, someone on here who always watches Kings games with opposing team announcers said every teams' announcers so far have said they thought the Malone firing was a mistake. Other sports commentators have said as much, too.

Is the angry smiley your insert? I was going to say something snide about a new toy distracting him from messing with the Kings but I don't really know how hands on he actually is.
