The trouble with Landry has always been that we signed a mediocre PF for 6+ million dollars, when we needed a shot blocker, and we already had $20M tied up in mediocre power forwards. And now, counting Williams, we still have $20M tied up in mediocre power forwards. And we still don't have a shot blocker.
Landry is a specialist, just like all our other power forwards are specialists: Landry is good at low post scoring, Thompson is good at defending power bigs, Evans is good at rebounding, Williams is good at eating up six million dollars of cap space... I just wish that, instead of spending another six million on another power forward who can only do one thing, we had spent, maybe, ten million on a power forward who can do two or three things.
