The Kings, who own a 6-4 record, are the only team this season to not allow an opposing player to score 25 or more points in a game. The streak is now 10 games, matching the single-season record in the shot clock era, according to Elias Sports Bureau.
And we have played the lies of
Griffin/cpflop
Lillard/aldrige
Splash brother
Lawson
Parker
ZBo
Dirk/Monta
Bledsoe/Dragic

I'm afraid of the Pelicans. Davis is much quicker than JT and able to get around him or get open jumpshots from 15ft. Evans, Holiday, Rivers and Gordon all are able to attack the paint, putting DMC once again into the risk of fouling. Outside of DMC we got no Big-Man able to contest their penetration. Anderson is the prototypical Stretch-4 and we had a hell lot of problems guarding those perimeter players.
Things can get really ugly versus these guys.

I think Tyreke will struggle against Gay on both ends. The Pelicans (and can we just make Utah give Nawlins back the Jazz name?) are stuck with Gordon for this year and next (I think there's zero chance he opts out with $15 million on the table) but they will still have cap room this offseason and should look to sign or draft a sweet shooting SF and move Tyreke to the backcourt with Holiday where he belongs.

And whether Anderson comes in at the 3 or the 4 I think the Kings should put Gay, Casspi or even (shudder) Williams on him.

This should be a fun game.

Casspi should play a lot against Anderson

Stauskas might have swagger, but he's under a lot of pressure: he knows, there's not many players, he can defend effectively, so offensive contribution is all he can offer at the moment. Nik doesn't get to touch the ball a lot, and this leaves shooting as the only means of affecting the game - he takes semi-open shots and rushes them. Stauskas just needs time...
Agree 100%. Almost every shot he takes look rushed right now. He's a rookie who came in with the expectations that he'd be an absolute sharpshooter from Day 1. He doesn't get a ton of opportunities and feels like he needs to contribute when he does have the opportunity, I'm sure. He'll be fine as the season moves on and he settles in.

Also, the Pelicans will also be on the second game of a back-to-back. They haven't played well on the road either.

NO game will be fun, the two emerging Superstars of the NBA going at it, will be on National TV too. Im really hoping for a win so that the TNT game has some real steam to it. JT will need to really put his body into Davis, once he gets free its like a 7 foot gazelle, where Cousins is like a 7 foot Gorilla in ballerina shoes.

He's struggling right now, in part because he's not used to only getting 1 or 2 shots at the most, to gain any in- game feel. It's extremely tough for anyone to get on a roll with so few chances, but it is what it is right now

even..... dare we say.... Top Hat???? Landry is looking like a good move right now as a skill big off the bench and culture guy.
The trouble with Landry has always been that we signed a mediocre PF for 6+ million dollars, when we needed a shot blocker, and we already had $20M tied up in mediocre power forwards. And now, counting Williams, we still have $20M tied up in mediocre power forwards. And we still don't have a shot blocker.

Landry is a specialist, just like all our other power forwards are specialists: Landry is good at low post scoring, Thompson is good at defending power bigs, Evans is good at rebounding, Williams is good at eating up six million dollars of cap space... I just wish that, instead of spending another six million on another power forward who can only do one thing, we had spent, maybe, ten million on a power forward who can do two or three things.

OK so I can give your seat at the crow banquet to someone else???
