Reports are coming out that the Wolves will do everything in their power to keep Kevin Love, which means adding veterans at the current moment in an effort to get into the playoffs.
Woj is saying that Shved and Derrick Williams have been made available for trade talks:

Shved, when given starter minutes last year was basically Vasquez + athleticism, quickness, & a 3pt shot. Unlike Vasquez, he DOES have the tools to be a good defender and is already and extremely good passer.
With Derrick Williams, you have that guy who coaches don't know what position to play him at. Is he a 3 or a 4? You take his size, speed, athleticism, 3pt shot and you can create a monster 3. But, you have to decide if you will commit to that. He simply won't succeed as a 4. If Malone would do that, I would be all for taking him on.
Now, the only veteran Adelman would actually take from our team would be Chuck Hayes as he had him in Houston and always loved the way he played. Would love to get rid of Thornton's salary, but I highly doubt Adelman would want a grumpy gunner who wants to start...and he won't get that in Minnesota with K-Mart taking reign of the 2 spot.
