This really stinks. I hadRichard Jeefeerson on my fantasy team, and now Zach Randolph is gone and he ALSO is on my fantasy team.

But anyway................ Zach is calling it a season and here is the artuicle ferom Sports ilusstrated:

MEMPHIS, Tennessee (Ticker) - The Portland Trail Blazers will limp to the finish line this season without their best player.

The Trail Blazers announced Monday that forward Zach Randolph, the club's leading scorer and rebounder, will miss the remainder of the season with a right knee injury.

Randolph has battled the injury for much of the season and had missed the last five games.

On Monday, Randolph received a second opinion on the injury in Cleveland. He was diagnosed with a bone contusion to the articular surface of the right femur, and will undergo arthroscopic surgery next week in Portland.

In 46 games this season, Randolph had averages of 18.9 points and 9.6 rebounds. He established career highs last season with averages of 20.1 points and 10.5 rebounds.

The Trail Blazers on Monday also activated guard Derek Anderson, who has been sidelined since Feb. 23 with back spasms, from the injured list.

Portland (23-37), which has lost 11 of its last 14 games, is season-high 14 games under .500.

Portland is having a really bad year.

The Kings have been injuried struck just all year this year?

Haha, when I first read the "Portland is having a bad year" line I thought it was part of the article. Might as well have been.

Maybe the Randalph/Telfair/Miles core will develop into something nice. So far though, 2 out of the 3 seem to be first-class Blazer knuckleheads. At least they're keeping in team spirit.
