my fav was one from a while back. it was a kitty littler ad of all things. it had this ADORABLE kitten and his side kick cat, and this other cat who was telling them about the cat litter, and the other 2 cats were like "whatever" and the way they said it was SO FUNNY!!!!!!!

i also like that diet coke ad " oh my stary eyed surprise sun to end to sun rise dance all night we gonna dance all night to this DJ we gonna dance all night to this DJ " i love that song!!!! and i like the bubbles flying around while they are roller skating

one of my favorites isnt current but it was the superbowl commercial with the guy and the cat where he was making dinner for his and then the cat knocked the stuff over and he picked up the cat who was covered in sauce and was holding a knife right when the walked in.

another couple i like are the pdiddy diet pepsi truck one(because its the only superbowl commerical still around and it still amkes me laugh)
and the dairy queen one where the guy can talk bee

One of my very favorite commercials ever was a "Got Milk?" ad that hardly got aired... possibly because it was too disturbing.

Two kids are sitting at the breakfast table eating and Mom is encouraging them to drink their milk. Both of the kids protest, stating that "Mr. Johnson never drinks milk and look how much energy he has." At which point, they cut to an elderly man doing yard work. He looks at the camera, smiles and waves, and then goes to pick up a wheel barrow... but his arms fall off because he doesn't drink enough milk and has weak bones. Cut to a shot of the kids and the mom from outside of the kitchen window. Mom's got a look of horror on her face and the kids are screaming before picking up their glasses of milk and drinking so furiously that milk is pouring down their faces. Got milk?

I only saw that commercial about three times before it must have been yanked, but I think its one of the most genius commercials ever. So twisted.

I loved those Emerald Nuts ads, although I haven't seen them much lately. So clever, creative, and funny. I also like those Brawny ads with the good-looking guys using Brawny towels to clean stuff up in the kitchen and making it look all sexy. They're just so intentionally corny and silly, and the guys are so hot!

On The USA-Network

They've shown 3 new commericals .... one with Monk (the sanitary, everything must be in it's proper place, can't stand sloppiness guy) and the other two with The Dead Zone (he touches people and is able to look into their past/future) guy.

#1 - Monk .... the scenes are shot in a grocery store and he's going up-n-down the aisles, reading labels, putting items in his basket and then rolls his cart up to the check-out stand .... the cashier asks "Are you all set?" ..... Monk replies, "Yes, these items are all expired" ... and walks off

#2 - Dead Zone guy - He's relaxing at home and his cat jumps up on the table, so he starts petting his cat .... while petting he ZONES-OUT and gets a taste of what his cat does, what kinda trouble, what kinda life and a whole bunch of other stuff) ... scene ends with DEAD ZONE GUY saying "I gotta get me a dog".

#3 - Dead Zone guy - in his front yard and the mailman comes walking up to deliver his mail. Mailman says "Hey, you're that Dead Zone Guy", extends his hand to shake hands and when they shake, Dead Zone Guy starts trembling and convulsing ..... Dead Zone Guy stops, let's go of the mailman's hand and says "GOTCHA !!!".

One of my favorite commercials was a Southwest Airlines commericial. It had these two guys rapping "Put your hands up, put your hands up!" Then after the song they would go, "Thank you, Detroit, We love you!" Then, the people in the crowd would go BOOO and start staring at them like crazy.. and the singers just have this confused, embarassed look on their faces, it was just hilarious!

^^ That reminds me...the "Wanta Get Away" Southwest commercials...the woman snooping in the medicine cabinet and the shelves all fall...the guy that bends over to pick something up and the woman behind sticks her hands under his butt like a quarterback...etc. They had some good ones.

There was also another one.. where a lady was putting her contacts in, and she was apparently in the men's bathroom.. and everyone comes out of the bathroom and starts looking at her. One more, it had these two people working together and the guy was on the phone with his girlfriend, but his co-worker thought he was in love with her, and she tells him, "Why thank you, Paul, I find you very attractive myself." Then, Paul goes, "Hold on." Wait, Excuse me?" They had those on a lot last year, I believe.

I love those Southwest commercials! My favorite one is the woman at work who gets an email offering a job. When she opens it, it launches the 'pink slip' virus that immediately travels to all the other computers around her.

I also love those Geico commercials "I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico". I was always fooled into thinking it was a serious commercial when they first aired! My favorite one is the Speed Racer recent one.

I like the clairvoyant child commercials on USA and the Dead Zone ones Folsom Al mentioned. I also really like the Advantix one with the puppy and the camp song. :)

Geico commercials are pretty good, but now the new ones are really obvious and over the top fake, so it kind of ruins the effect. After about 5 seconds I realize that their Geico ads, which really ruins the punchline.

I love the "Tiny House" Geico commercial. They do such a good job that even after I've seen it 10 times before, I still get suckered into thinking it's an actual reality TV show promo for the first few seconds.

The one with Ben Wallace and Tracy Morgan..the BENNY WALLACE one.

and CWebb on the gameshow commercial..when he won a whole livingroom set and he's like "I don't want that ugly furniture!" lol

I like all the NBA Playoff commercials.. the old ones, with Vlade mailing letters to the championship trophy, and Dirk calling it from his hotel every 5 seconds, JKidd trying to seduce the trophy, and Tim Duncan.."listen Doc, I really love her" lol well i like all those

i think it's a mastercard commercial where this man is dancing..all girlish looking to this funny music and he's just swinging his arms all over the place and smacking his butt. I can't explain but it was halarious..i think it was for mastercard

and this one is like 3 yrs old..there's this bald man sitting in the middle of nowhere in this robe thing and i guess he was some kind of weather man who had powers to control the weather and it's raining and he's like "rain will now stop...rain will now stop it man..AW RAIN..STOP IT NOW!!" i guess it's only funny if you've seen it

and u guys are gonna think i'm so weird/dumb (if u already didn't, lol) well I forget what kinda truck it is but it's all about if u get this one kinda truck it will prevent accidents from happening..well i just like the part where there's a turkey in a cooler (it was in the 'bad accidental truck') and i guess the back of the truck fell down and the cooler fell out and the turkey rolled out all in the dirt LMAO ah, that cracks me up every time!.. i kno , i'm dumb and laugh at anything and at the wrong times..its just that something like that seems like it would happen to me..ok i'm done for now lol

OH! I almost forgot this one.. It's a Southwest "Wanna get away" commercial..where a lady and a man are sitting next to each other in their workplace and the man is talking on the phone (with a tiny ear piece) and the lady doesn't know it and the guy goes "maybe this isn't a good time to say this but I'm attracted to you" (or somethin like that..i forget his exact words) and the lady goes "I've always been attracted to you too, Paul" and the guy turns to her and is like "excuse me?" and she notices that he's on the phone. hahaha i love that one [a similiar occurence happened to me before and it's very embarrassing!]

how bout the "wanna get away commercial" where some lady is sitting next to her fellow employee(a guy) and hes on a head set talking to his wife or girlfriend, but the lady doesnt know hes on the phone and when he says i love u, she says i love u too(i know im getting it a little wrong, so correct me please), and then he says "excuse me" and then she looks away and the commercial says "wanna get away".

these commercials remind me of something my friend did that would make a very funny southwest commercial. we were playing ball for this league and it was organized ball obviously. anyways, the other team was shooting freethrows and they missed the second one(picture a well put commercial with everybody intense and sweaty and its in slow mo). after the miss, my friend skies over everybody and sort of screams and then when he gets the board, we all start running the other way, but what does my friend do? puts in a layup for the other team. i was so angry, but it made me laugh like crazy.

and the lady doesn't know it and the guy goes "maybe this isn't a good time to say this but I'm attracted to you" (or somethin like that..i forget his exact words) and the lady goes "I've always been attracted to you too, Paul" and the guy turns to her and is like "excuse me?" and she notices that he's on the phone.

thats what i couldnt remember

Yeah, the Southwest ones are REALLY good like hte lady and the man one that imadougholic said about. Also, the first time I saw the Geidoc comeercial of hte Tiny House, I thought it was real!! They did pretty good reality and making it look real. have I mentoioned a commercial (dont know the compamny name)_ where hew a guy comes in a bar and it says no dogs allowed. So he takes his dog ewhich looks like some jamacian hair and puts it on his head, and says all this stuff like Jamicans do. And then, the girl touches his hauir and gets barked at!! I think it was a beer commmercial now that I remember.

This is going back in time. Browsing through the Comcast cable channels last week, I happened upon one of the local, independent cable channels broadcasting 'the best of Fred Rated', a whole hour of nothing but those early 1980's commercials for the electronics store Federated. Anyone else from that era remember them?? They were incredibly goofy, weird, hyper, very funny ads and they all starred the character Fred Rated playing various sales roles. It was neat to be reminded and still get a laugh from the ads all these years later. Not only that, but it was very interesting looking at the products being advertised from that era. Those huge, cabinet-like TV sets going for $500! Beta players, now antique-looking VCR's going for top dollar as well. I don't know who produced this special or what vault they got these old ads from. I think the store Federated has been closed for quite some time now, either that or they morphed into some other store. Wonder whatever happened to Fred Rated....

this is stuff I didn't know. I knew the name sounded familiar

He was the first program director of "World Famous" KROQ-FM. He created one of the first Alternative Rock formats in the country. As Vice President of Programming, he created a new music format that consisted of nothing but "cutting edge, exciting new music. As both PD and on-air personality, the "attitude" he developed, combined with this new musical "niche," resulted in astonishing acceptance in a very short time. Within 6 months it became a number one station. As a radio personality during this period, he won the Billboard Magazine Personality of the Year Award.

After leaving radio for the worlds of television and film, in 1988, he was offered the position of hosting American Top Forty. Casey Kasem left the show, and Shadoe became the new host for the next 6 years. During this time, it became the most successful and widely syndicated radio show in the world. It was broadcast in 120 countries to an estimated 1 billion listeners every week. His voice became one of the most recognizable voices in the world. At the same time, he appeared on Hollywood Squares, which for three years was a top 5 syndicated show. As a regular on the show, he became a household name. The show continued in successful syndication for another three years.

He has most recently been the voice of Hollywood Squares, doing all the voice-overs, promos, and advertising.
