They show these freakin sonic commercials all the time and I can never find a sonic within an hour of my house....so don't tempt me with the damn commercials!
You think *that's* bad? Hawaii gets all of its network feeds from Los Angeles, and when I was stationed at Pearl, I had to watch all kinds of Sonic commercials, despite the fact that the closest Sonic was in California!

"Supersize Me" basically turned me off to all of them.

But I'll sneak in an In-N-Out Burger every once in awhile...

hoopsie, Hardees is owned by the same owners as Carl's Jr. In the midwest, Hardees has the same menu as Carl's Jr. has here.

The Hardees I went to was more like Arby's and not much like Carls Jr.....but North Dakota is weird that way. ;)

sonic, huh.. well imo outside of the limeades and slushes (among other fountain drinks they have) I really dont care for the place. their burgers leave much to be desired but at least they offer tots (which I like with cheese) i voted wendy's from the options offered.. got the best burgers and the most authentic spicy chicken sandwich of the others.

I didn't think there would be that many Sonic Lovers at KingsFans. I guess I am behind the times..I thought they were mostly in Oklahoma, Texas and parts of Colorado. And Cheese tots and a Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper yum. The nearest Sonic to me is a fairly new one in Cheyenne, Wyoming so I am out of luck until I go to Oklahoma.:)

I'll agree that White Castle sucks. When I visited my mom in NY some years ago, I finally made it to a White Castle after hearing about them for years. Their hamburgers were like little piles of tasteless steamed mush-yuck. I don't see why people love that place.

Read "Fast Food Nation" not only does Schloser look at how the food is killing us, but he shows how the big chains are changing our towns... excellent read!

Bah; if reading The Jungle didn't put me off of eating meat (and it didn't), then nothing will. And there's nothing that I could read or watch that'll make me stop eating fast food, either.

And anybody who doesn't like White Castle needs to have their tongues surgically removed.

Although my tongue is now removed, I can still type.....
Tell me Mr. Citrus, just what is one supposed to like about White Castle? How does their mush even resemble taste?

I like FF, but I don't eat the really bad stuff all the time. I only get a burger and fries occassionally, as I've found a great substitute in Boca Vegetarian burgers. Takes care of the craving right away. I mainly stick to healthier FF options like Taco Bell and Subway for my FF times.

I voted for Taco Bell- it's right across the street so if I get fast good it's usually that or Quiznos of course.

But I would have to agree, In-N-Out is my favorite, you can't beat it. Usually fast food grosses me out, but one of my roommates last year worked at In-N-Out and she said it's really clean, everything is really fresh (they don't have freezers just fridges), and that she still eats it all the time. SO that makes me feel good about it.

What's one supposed to like? Everything!

Seriously, it is impossible to describe what's to like about White Castle; you either like it, or you don't... I just happen to be strongly of the opinion that anyone who doesn't like it has a deficient sense of taste.

i love it, the town i live in, it's a small town in oregon. it used to have a mcdonalds, but the town hated it so much, they boycotted it and it went under

you gotta love that :D

Oh I love White Castle! Those jalapeno cheese sliders are wonderful! Rax was always my first choice, but it went under a couple of years ago which makes me wonder if Rax even still exists anywhere. I haven't seen one in a long time.

Carl's Jr., they had a portobello mushroom burger before, I think it was a special promotion or something, best burger I ever ate.

From Da Ali G Show

"Yo, all of the best cooks in da world is men! You got Colonel Sanders, Ronald McDonald - they is both way better than...Wendy!"

Of the list I picked Carl Jrs. I loved their Onion Rings. I can't eat any fast food any more:(

But yesterday I had http://www.beachhutdeli.com/ off of Laguna blvrd in Elk Grove.. Surfin Bird with Provalone was AWESOME!!!!!!:D

This chain is going National. Their first non Nor Cal/Nev shop will be in North Virginia, Virginia?

< looks around for $200,000 to own a franchise>

Rax-now there's a name from the past. That place was bought out by Arby's years ago. The menu stayed the same though, I think. Arby's has a broad menu, but they're way overpriced for the quality of food.
