This happened when I rode my bike home and listened to the radio call. IIRC they said Looney shouldn't have been taking the jump ball in the first place and then when the play completed on the other end they were talking about Sabonis being on the ground.

Anyways, I was off the boards and twitter and didn't see in person and the radio guys didn't mention it, but WTF with Looney ELBOWING Domas in the face while attempting to hook his extended arm with the "jump ball arm" and winning the tip with his outside hand. How was that not a foul let alone a flagrant?

What I have noticed, is that the official doing the jump ball toss, usually looks up at the ball after he tosses it. Giving the players a split second chance to get away with contact
 
Sabonis is going up against 2 solid defensive bigs, additional players packing the paint solely to take him out of the game, referees who refuse, REFUSE to protect him or give him any call. I’d go so far as GS feels encouraged to inflict as much pain as possible knowing no call is probably coming

And some of the comments directed towards him here on the forum…….lol. wut
 
Sabonis didn’t just forget how to play or become incapable. He is hesitant to go to the hoop because they can hack him all day, elbow him in the face and just generally do anything they want without him getting a call. Warriors are very handsy in the post and slap at everything. Hard to be effective down low when you can’t even bring the hall above your hips.

He will be fine and will figure it out. However, I think in the summer, he’s got to add a mid range shot and improve his 3 point shooting. It’s the only way to make the teams pay for giving him so much space.

Refs have truly amazing ability not to see Domas getting hit in a head.With remarkable consistency.Even if one is standing inches away from the play.

It took gazillion years for a team to make playoffs.And it only took a few subpar games in the playoffs for so called fans to turn on a guy largely responsible for Kings being in the playoffs in a first place.Amazing...

In this case it's not just the head though - maybe I just am not paying enough attention with jump balls, or we don't see them in slow mo replays, but I can't recall players looking to tip with their outside arms so that they can foul their opponent with the regular jump arm. Is that a normal thing now that I just have never noticed?

That mid-range top of the key Brad Miller shot is right there for the taking. We'd literally be unstoppable with Sabonis taking and making that.

I think going back to Huerter in the 4th was some of the biggest cajones I've ever seen from a coach. No one would have blamed him at all if he sat, but dude has all the belief in the world in his guys and the guys that got us to this point. And Huerter ends up being the guy to put the nail in the coffin with back to back 3's while playing great defense in that sint and hopefully this springboards him into an awesome game 7.

I'll keep going back to this, but Domas DID take that shot all-season and MADE that shot all season. He was basically the same mid-range % as guys like DeRozan and Ingram. And obviously the 83 3's in the regular season isn't a ton of volume, but still at 37%? That's enough where if you're wide open, he was able to pull and make that shot.

There just has to be some sort of set-back with his hand. He's also been uncharacteristically sloppy with his handle and losing the ball with turnovers. GSW has had an awesome game-plan on him, but we didn't see any of this slop during the regular season. It wouldn't surprise me if he just can't feel the ball right when dribbling or shooting.

I think the fact that Kevin was playing well defensively pretty much the whole game allowed coach to let him shoot himself out of the slump

Yep.I would be really surprised if there are no issues with the hand and he is just fumbling the ball for no reason, especially in the middle of the court with no pressure.After watching him dribble basket to basket high speed countless times during the season it's hard to believe he suddenly forgot how to do that.Something is off

Can’t count game 1. Both teams had close to a week off after the regular season coming into that one.

So the KINGS did win one game with long rest between games.
